Black Duck Farm is a 20 acre private hobby farm located in the green rolling hills of Gippsland (10Klm from Leongatha). The property has beautiful views and lovely gardens to wander about and enjoy. The views from the B&B cottages are stunning and each cottage is beautifully appointed and decorated and very private.
My husband and I retired from the city and corporate world to Gippsland to run a small hobby farm in 2009. The property was a cow paddock and now boasts over 12,000 trees, a vineyard, orchard, olive grove and lovely gardens. It is a labour of love for both of us and we love sharing it with guests.
Gippsland is a beautiful all year around, always green and lush and full of interesting things to do no matter the season. Black Duck farm is only 10 minutes out of Leongatha a town of approx. 6000 with excellent facilities including a cinema. The towns around the area are quaint and offer many art and craft galleries and festivals. There are excellent walking and riding tracks, lovely parks, stunning golf courses and good beaches within easy distance.
