Its very quiet, clean and hospitality gestures by the host

We really appreciated the fact that we had a very private locating and our room was quiet, clean and surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. The property is in a central location in Broome and it had excellent access to public transport and a place to park a hire car.

Beautiful and comfortable one of the best places I have stayed in broome, no question about it, its close to the beach (15 minutes walk) , and about 5 minutes drive from the centre, definitely a good choice when coming to Broome. I will definitely be returning soon.

Having a separate kitchen area with everything available for your stay. Carolyn was a fantastic host , supplied extra towels we didn't use . Garden area was a treasure . Foxtel was a great touch , especially as we stayed 6 nights.

Small things like the provision of breakfast and some food in the fridge, provision of towels and face washers made all the difference. Carolyn was very helpful and accomodating, and made sure that I had everything that I needed. It was a lovely stay and was very welcoming. Would highly recommend people stay at Chez Marguerites 😊

Property is in the quiet residential area of Cable Beach midway between the beach and China Town. It is a 15 minute walk through remnant rain forrest to a less populated section of Cable Beach or 3 kilometres by road to the main part of Cable Beach. The unit is separate from the house and self-contained, roomy and comfortable. Unit car space is metres from the door. Property is set in tranquil gardens. It is one block to the bus stop.
My Family and I fell in love with Broome 30+ years ago, whilst travelling around Australia. Many years later we built a Granny flat for my husband's Mother, Marguerite. Hence the name Chez Marguerite. Marguerite moved to Perth eventually and the Granny flat became a BnB in 2008. It has been a great experience and, along with teaching piano, it keeps me out of mischief. I am also a mad gardener and Lap Swimmer.
The property is not far from the beach as the crow flies. you can walk through remnant rainforest to a quiet beach in about 15 minutes. The property is about 3 km from the Cable Beach tourist percent, in one direction and about 3km from China town in the other. It is 1-2 km from a large shopping centre.
