An oasis in the drought stricken land. Owners Julie and Bruce were most hospitable and seeing the working of the farm was just what we wanted. Also no tv and communication was good for us. Loved the pool and garden and the pet kangaroos. The room size was huge.

A unique haven in the "gateway to the outback" Julie, an avid gardener, has established an amazing garden oasis at the homestead. Her artistic skills have resulted in beautifully co-ordinated decor in the rooms. Beaut linen too. The homestead itself has wares of the past displayed in nooks and crannies. We experienced a heat wave of 45% and so were thankful we upgraded to a room with air-conditioning. The pool came in very handy! Our last day was much cooler after some wonderful rain and very pleasant. A working farm for merino sheep and barley and cotton fields. Loved the guinea fowl too. Everyone was very welcoming and happy to have a chat.

Breakfast was good .Locally sourced eggs ,excellent bread ,croissants and condiments and as we were alone first night had kitchen to ourselves

Amazing setup and experience, so remote, beautiful hosts Julie and Bruce. Wonderful touches throughout property, amazing gardens Pit fire , sunset and local wine great way to finish day. Interesting tennis game with 3 kangaroos and 2 dogs on tennis court! highlight was baby Joey, danny, and visiting roos. special thanks to Sue and Andrew who took great care of us Highly recommended, unique stay you will remember forever!
