The photos depict the venue well. Super quiet, well appointed, only a few km from the heart of Hunter Valley. The owners were great when we contacted them. Like all the reviews before us, WE WOULD DEFINITELY SAY AGAIN :-) We went to HV for the Christmas Lights - awesome, Wineries, Zoo, Chocolate Factory and our wedding anniversary – a great two night way despite the first heatwave of the season – 43 degrees.

AustraliaCheck in was seamless with a pin type keypad at the front door; bonus we couldn't forget the keys! The kitchen looked brand new and there were helpful brochures, maps and guides to lots of local events, restaurants and activities. Access for anyone with a wheel chair might not be easy but could be gotten around....and an excellent concrete path from the carpark meant no muddy shoes. The view of the cows nearby was fun and the distant views were relaxing and private. The other 2 cottages were sufficiently separated to be hard to be bothered by for us.
AustraliaThe property was comfortable and cosy and perfect for a weekend escape. Great location central to the Hunter Valley offerings, but fully equipped to accommodate the needs of someone wanting to spend more time on the property. Particularly loved the fireplace and BBQ on the verandah.

AustraliaThe cottage ( 3 bed 2 bath) was really clean, well located and thoughtfully supplied. We loved that it was solar powered and environmentally aware with its toiletries and waste disposal. The beds were surprisingly comfortable- a lot of places have saggy mattresses but the beds in this cottage were all amazingly comfortable. There were two cafes only a minute drive away for breakfasts, close to many wineries and not far at all from Pokolbin. Lots of parking, space and peace and quiet.

A peaceful country escape can be enjoyed at Cottages on Lovedale, located within Hunter Valley Wine Country. These self-contained cottages feature full kitchen facilities and a spa bathtub. Free parking is available.
Cottages on Lovedale is a 10-minute from the main winery in Pokolbin Town Center and a 12-minute drive from Cessnock Town Center. Barbecue and picnic spots at Hunter Valley are within a 15-minute drive from the cottages.
Decorated with wooden furnishings, the cozy air-conditioned cottages feature a lounge area with a sofa and fireplace. Each is equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and radio. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are also included.
Home-cooked meals can be prepared in the cottage's kitchen, with its oven stove top and microwave. For outdoor dining, a hooded barbecue pit is provided.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip.
