Great country pub accommodation, exceptionally clean, lovely old building that felt loved. Shared bathroom clean and decorated to suit era. would stay here again

A great country pub feeling. Lovely rustic food. TAB. Pokies. Rooms are comfy. Toilets/bathrooms super clean. Lounge area and verandah relaxing. Staff are super friendly. Felt appreciated, valued and looked after.

It was in a very convenient location and check in was very easy. The place was very well maintained and there where extra pillows and blankets available in the room, which made my stay warm on the cold winter's night :)

Friendly staff with warm welcome! Considerate about safety and wellbeing. Nice location

Very clean rooms, beds comfy, shared bathroom so clean. Food easy, could take our bottle of wine upstairs. Staff excellent, friendly. Never stayed in a pub before We would revisit again if passing through from syd to melb.

And the food from the pub kitchen is great......well above a average pub standard!!!

This place is in the heart of town. I liked the staff, they were genuinely friendly people. The bathroom was quite large and clean considering it was a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough

Very relaxed atmosphere where everything was well done, err ...except the steak - Scotch Fillet, Medium Rare - chips and salad. Very helpful staff. Room was clean and not over-cluttered. Shared bathroom was also very clean.

Super clean, super friendly staff, good meal, right on main street

The location, the service & the room were good

I stayed a while back. Really liked my room, and the bathroom was nice. But, there is no bar fridge or kettle, cups, tea / coffee and milk provided. I looked around, the whole of the Upstairs area. There was no kitchen area or a kitchen nook, with the above mentioned items. Most Pubs I have stayed at, have those things in your room, or at least in an area where you can access them easily, Upstairs. I think, for the price you charge for your rooms, those things are the sorts of basic facilities, and normal kind of comforts, that most people need when arriving and resting after traveling all day. I have stayed in Pubs stay's (between $40 - $60 a night prices), which provided those things as part of the room. Anyway, just a suggestion. There were a lot of rooms Upstairs. Perhaps, consider turning one of them, into a kitchenette area. I saw, the lounge room. There are already tv's, in each room. So, in a way, a kitchen facility for your Guest's comfort, is probably more important, than a large lounge room area. I had to throw out some food, as I didn't have a bar fridge in my room or access to one nearby. I had my own cup, tea, coffee and long life milk. But, couldn't make any hot drinks, whilst I was staying there for 2 nights. Just some suggestions, for you to consider, I guess.Thank you for your feed back, it is appreciated. Had the staff been notified of your needs, they could have accommodated your requests. We do have a fridge in the dining room (down stairs), and can provide a jug, tea/coffee and milk for overnight guest. We will talk to the staff about mentioning this, upon check-in, to guests. We are planning a small coffee station upstairs, near the top of the stairs, in the near future. Looking forward to seeing you again Regards David & JeddaAnswered on November 2, 2019
