The location is nice for exploring the northern Daintree and seeing cassowary birds not far. Beach near by but not for swimming. Owner and staff nice and responsive during our stay.
United States of AmericaIt was central to everything you needed. Amazing service prior to going, during and post! We left a few items and they even posted them for us!!!! One tip, if you have kids. Definitely bring a portable DVD player. After the big days we had, it would have helped give the kids some much needed RNR. The facilities had everything we needed. Definitely will be back again!

AustraliaLocation at Thornton Beach is awesome. We normally stay further north but this caught my eye. it was brilliant as it allowed us to access the beach within 5 minutes and was so peaceful when the tourist traffic left. will definitely be back for a longer stay .

How can I get to the closest beach from the property?The beach is directly across the road from the property. Simply roll out of bed and walk past CJ's Cafe, possibly pick up a coffee on the way through, and enjoy an early morning stroll on the beach!Answered on December 19, 2019
