Deshon’s Retreat was a fabulous getaway for a few days for us. It is sooo quiet and peaceful. Just the birds, wallabies, views, amazing old trees, etc. The accommodation has all we needed, it is small but well set out with all the essentials (including great coffee and a few useful kitchen ingredients).

The room and the amenities were amazing, couldn't fault them. And on top of that paying a little bit extra for breakfast is highly recommended as that was delicious too! The hosts were incredibly welcoming as well, and open to helping out during our stay had we needed it!

  • Hi, I'm confused about the shared toilet. Shared with who? The other Chalet?
    Every individual self contained chalet has its own private bathroom complete with its own private toilet. Hope this clears up your question.

  • Hi there. We were thinking of booking arriving 11th Dec 2020 and departing 14th Dec 2020. What is the difference in layout or view for the 2 chalets shown as available? Peter
    Hi & Thank you for your question/s. The layout of both chalets is exactly the same. The main difference will be the decor/colors between the two. The view is said to be , by guests, better from our Purple chalet as it is located at higher ground.

  • Hi! Do you have three separate beds in this place?
    The chalets have 1 x King Double Bed and 1 x Double Sofa bed. Should a third bed be required we can offer a 1 x single foldaway bed. Please bear in mind that the total number of guests in a chalet is a total of 4 guests.

  • Is it bed and breakfast???? How much extra is English/ continental breakfast?
    Good Morning - We have 2 tarrifs one for ROOM ONLY and one inclusive of our Deshons Hearty Country Breakfast. Room Only cost is $160.00 per night for 2 x guests and $200.00 inclusive of Breakfast for 2 x guests.
