From the time we opened the door it smelt and looked amazing! The property exceeded our expectations, it has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the log fire was great for those chilly nights. I would highly recommend staying at Dove on Freycinet you wont be disappointed. The area is gorgeous not only the views but lots of good local produce to try, we went to the local oyster farm where you can get great local fresh seafood. We had a awesome dinner at Lures @ On the Edge of the Bay, thanks to Josh amazing chef !!

We have stayed at Dove Cottage many times over the last 10-12 years and the facilities have improved each year. The outlook from the large deck over the famous mountains, The Hazards, is sensational. The cottage is exceptionally comfortable, warm in winter and breezy cool in summer. We were only a couple this time but in the past we have had three couples staying and have entertained many more at barbecues on the expansive deck. If you have the chance, stay here, it is fantastic.

Location was first class. Fantastic view of the Hazards. Property has been refurbished since we last stayed and, even though it was lovely before, this was a nice surprise. Plenty of comfortable seating and a massive dining tabvle so we can all eat together.

    Hi, This beautiful house is elevated which means to access you will have to go up some stairs. This property is only one story house and you can have access to all the areas of the house in the same floor.

    Hi, we have soften our policies. In the case your booking is affected by COVID we can either move you booking charged free or the refund let us know 14 day prior your booking date so that we can give you full refund less $50 (admin fees).

Dove on Freycinet is a peaceful, spacious holiday house. A great place to stay and relax in the heart of Coles Bay. Minutes by walking or car to Freycinet National Park with its bushwalks and the renowned Wineglass Bay. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, boat ramps and shops in Coles Bay. Free wifi is available at this property. The self-contained holiday house has accommodation for up to 9 people in three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom two has 1 double bed and bedroom three has 2 double beds & 1 single bed. There is a very spacious lounge area with both wood and air con/heat pump. iPod dock, gadget charging station, Nespresso coffee machine are just some of extra in this holiday house. The large deck has a barbeque and outdoor dining setting that take in the magnificent views.

In the Freycinet National Park you have the famous Wineglass Bay and the lighthouse, you can get information & maps on the walks and hikes in this region from the National Park office here in Coles Bay. There are also experiences such as: A unique and reputable food & wine tour called The Long Lunch Tour Co. Wineglass Bay Cruises where you can view Wineglass Bay via a cruise. 4WD bike tours with All4Adventures. Kayak Tours with Freycinet Adventures. Scenic flights with Freycinet Air. The Freycinet Marine Farm where you can sample local oysters and scallops A restaurant/ cafe "Geographe". There are also wineries in the area & Tombolo woodfire pizza's at Devils Corner. There are lots of stunning beaches for swimming and fishing and a golf course. There are also many attractions in the next town of Bicheno (only 25 minutes away), where you can go on a night time Penguin Tours and see Tasmanian Devils at Nature World.
