Driftwood in Blacksmiths is the perfect family beach holiday home. Just a short 100m walk down the end of the street to the sandy shores, it is designed for comfort, ease and ultimate relaxation for a carefree coastal escape. Located in a central location, within walking distance to the beach, surf lifesaving club, convenience store, takeaway shops, BBQ areas and more. Comfortably sleeping 5 people the 2 bedroom home is designed for a family and has all the modern-day comforts for a weekend or longer away. The home has air conditioning, wifi, media streaming TV, and coffee machine catering for all your needs. The lounge room has plenty of cosy seating and is the perfect place to unwind for a night and watch some TV. This area is air-conditioned with a ceiling fan but also gets amazing ocean breezes of an afternoon. The recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and includes a full-sized fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher. The main bedroom has a queen bed and ceiling fan and the second bedroom has a bunk bed – perfect for kids. There is an additional single bed in the fully enclosed sunroom which still offers some privacy for a 5th guest. The bathroom, although a little older is tidy with a shower over bath and a separate toilet in the laundry. There is a washing machine for your use. The backyard is great to kick around a ball, with an enclosed dining area with BBQ to sit and enjoy the sea breeze and a carport large enough for 1 car or a boat. Walk down the end of the flat street to the direct beach access and within minutes you are on the sandy shores of Blacksmiths Beach. This home also has a cot and highchair for infants (please note that cot linen is not provided). Registration Number - PID-STRA-16882

Neighborhood info

Blacksmiths is a quiet beach-side suburb of Lake Macquarie and is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on one side and the mouth to the beautiful Lake Macquarie on another and situated north of Swansea (Just near the Swansea opening bridge). Blacksmiths Beach is easy to find and is found just off the Pacific Highway. The main entrance is located at the southern end of Nine Mile Beach (a 16km beach that stretches from Redhead to Blacksmiths). The beach is home of the Swansea-Belmont Surf Club which patrols the main beach in the warmer months of the year. There is a Kiosk at the beach and full amenities as well as BBQ facilities. Blacksmiths also hosts an excellent all-weather boat launching facilities on Swansea Channel which provide access to either the open sea or the vast expanse of the beautiful Lake Macquarie. Many fishing spots and picnic areas can be located around the foreshores of Lake Macquarie. You will receive an SMS before your arrival with information on directions to your property and any other special information you may require during your stay. This is sent once the check-in form has been completed.
