Owned by the Bishop family for 30 years, Ellie's is a wonderful house filled with memories and delights from fun filled days and filled with love! Whether for work or pleasure, romance , family holidays or a great getaway with friends experience Launceston accommodation in a gorgeous heritage listed property in the historic Glebe precinct. Arguably the best position in Launceston, Ellie's Place on City Park is a 2 storey Victorian (C1890) residence with 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a study. Ellie's Place is fully renovated and furnished in keeping with the period but includes all the modern amenities you could wish for. All you need to do is pack your clothes and toothbrush- absolutely everything else is there for you! An ideal place for those wanting that special time away- perfect for romantic getaways or for families wanting a great base from which to explore Northern Tasmania. A great location to see Launceston and so close to everything special in Northern Tasmania.
Bronwyn and Darren enjoy the special character homes that Launceston has to offer and we have enjoyed renovating Ellie's place over the years and watching her come to life with wonderful visitors. We enjoy travelling and have met some wonderful friends and stayed in some special places. We enjoy good food! (lots of that in Launceston) and time out with friends and family. We are both passionate AFL supporters and we also are fans of the Liverpool football club. We enjoy attending local, Australian and overseas horse racing events.
Across the road from Launceston's wonderful City Park - home of Festivale, Symphony under the Stars and of course the famous macaque monkey enclosure! Ellie's is central to everything wonderful in Launceston. Walk to many restaurants, the harvest market , the city , Aurora stadium, Boags brewery experience, National automobile museum. A 15 minute drive to the Tamar Valley wine route and many attractions

Children and Extra Beds
All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years are charged AUD 30 per night in a crib.
All children under 12 years are charged AUD 50 per night for extra beds.

Any type of extra bed or crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Additional fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
