We had 1 double bed and a double bunk bed with a metal bar above our heads, we hit our head on the top bar twice, not safe. Don't know why, but we did not have access to the outdoor area with pizza oven, table and chairs, even though it was advertised that we would have access. No chopping board. Three people and we were provided with only 1 hand towel and 1 face washer. I had to buy paper towels for us to dry our hands with after going to the toilet.

It didn't offer much for breakfast. We arrived 9 hours later than expected and the shops closed at 6:00pm, so we bought bread and milk from service station, very lucky, or we would have had nothing to eat for dinner. Not much to eat for breakfast. Coffee and tea was provided.

A 2:00pm check-in (the norm world-wide) would be better than 3:00pm - means most of the day is pretty much over so you are paying top dollar just for the bed. As it happened the house was still being 'cleaned' when we arrived so only got in at 3:15pm. The cleaner (manager) did say that he had had a problem as his cleaner had called in sick but we found layers of dust under the bed and furniture in general and on cupboards which seemed far too much (and impossible) for a short stay apartment and given the people who checked out at 10:00am had paid for a cleaner to do a good job. We did a quick run around with the stick vacuum provided and a damp cloth but felt a bit irritated that we had to clean before we could enjoy what we expected to find. Also no soap was provided as per the email confirmation. Other than that, the house is great and we would return or recommend it to anyone. I'm sure cleaning is easy to fix and hopefully the owners or managing agents will take this on board. We did email the agents on departure as we did not want to "advertise" our concerns on the web, but did not get a response.

House was quite comfortable. Views were great. Lots of appliances and games, books etc to keep you busy if you didn't feel like going out. TV screen was a bit small and badly situated given that when you sit on the couch in the afternoon, the sun shines directly into the window (obviously only happens in summer) and there is no block-out blind on the windows. Fine when it gets dark or early morning though.

Everything we required and more was provided. Kitchen was well stocked with more applicances than we have had at other rentals. The Library and games provided in the toilet area was an interesting extra. Fantasic view from the balcony with the option of using a barbeque or pizza oven to cook our own meals. Equipment and products for cleaning were made available if they were needed.

TThere is no attention to detail in the property for example the crockery wasn't cleaned properly the door tracks and windows were very dirty and not easy to open or close and the yard was a mess you wouldn't want to stay with same children and allow them to run around the yard The washing machine sounded like a jet plane taking off Quite disappointed for the price we paid We love Coles Bay and Freycinct

The only issue was the cutlery draw was so dirty I had to clean it before I could use anything from it, the rest of the house was really clean.

The location and views. we’re fantastic and only a short walk to the beach and river. Beautiful views of the sunset from the house. Everything we needed was there. Only a short drive to shops and attractions.
