Friends Holiday House is only a 2-minute walk to the local shopping center which includes a supermarket, pharmacy, newsagency, bottleshop, post office, laundromat, hair dressers, travel agent and cafe. Walking and cycling paths, a popular fishing beach and a swimming beach are all within a few minutes' walk from the property.

Enjoy the comfort and relaxed ambiance of the house and large backyard with plenty of places to relax, chat or socialise. The house was built circa 1955 with jarrah timber frame, flooring, architraves, etc, with high ceilings and the best of materials at that time. It was well designed as it still provides a feeling of space, light and peacefulness. The house is equipped with top quality modern appliances, furnishings and hotel quality linen. There is everything you need, including large washing machine and dishwasher. Great location as it's only 2 minutes' walk to shopping centre and 4 minutes' walk along safe and picturesque canal to the most beautiful part of Geographe Bay where you can swim in crystal clear, calm waters. The cycle way runs parallel to the beach in both directions and you can walk along the beach to the jetty in about 20-30 minutes. The property is in a great location near the beach and shops and abounded by other large properties, also with beautiful trees, and quiet, friendly neighbours. It's convenient to all of Busselton's attractions and amenities and is very safe and secure. My aim is to increase the number of returning guests.
I love Busselton and returned to this, my home town, about 18 months ago, though I've been having guests at the property since March 2013. It provides me great pleasure to have guests stay and enjoy the house, garden and surrounding attractions. I am continually improving the property and like to create/provide character pieces in and around the house. I love the garden...with a focus on the beautiful 150+ yo peppie tree and will continue to develop the garden further to create 'rooms' with beautiful plantings and an organic veggie patch. I also have plans to keep improving this beautiful Busselton home, without losing any of it's special characteristics.
West Busselton has always been considered a beautiful place to live and visit. It is just outside the CBD and close enough to walk (20-30 minutes) or drive 5 minutes. My home "Friends Holiday House" is surrounded by large blocks with mostly traditional Busselton homes and big backyards...so plenty of space and privacy with friendly and quiet neighbours. The West Busselton shopping centre (2 minutes' walk) is very popular with locals and tourists. You will find people very friendly and can have a chat with people you meet along the pathway to the beach and on the beach..anywhere you go in this region. I love it!
