Loved the garden out the back, very restful with the fountain gurgling away. Location was good, easy walk to the beach and not too far from the shops, swimming pool. The house itself was clean and tidy with nice comfy beds and all the appliances we used worked well. Was our first holiday away with our dog and it was lovely to be able to take him with us, he enjoyed the change of scenery and being with us. My three kids were very happy at this place, we’d definitely like to come back sometime.

My daugther and I spent three lovely nights in this beautifully renovated cottage... We were in constant contact with our hostess ,Susan and felt safe and welcomed... A large spacious house with enchanting highly polished wooden floors... The cleanliness factor was incredible.... The interior design is very upmarket and tastefully decorated... The bed linen crisp and white...the beds uber comfortable... Every possible utility was available in adequate quantaties

Great location not far from the beach, local shops and Busselton itself. Very clean and comfortable and the beds were so comfy! The back garden is beautiful and a very relaxing place to sit at night. Our granddaughter and her friend loved it there. Our host Susan was lovely, very helpful and friendly. We even got to meet her gorgeous dog, Esky. Susan even extended out checkout time for us. We will be booking this lovely house again.

This property is a 6-minute walk from the beach. Friends Holiday House offers accommodations in Busselton, 5 minutes' walk from the beach. Free private parking is available on site and access to free unlimited, high speed WiFi is available throughout the property.

There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. A flat-screen TV , Blu-ray playerand DVD player are available. The living area is air conditioned and includes a wood fire for cold winter nights.

There are 2 bathrooms, one with a claw foot bath and large shower. Quality bedding, linen and towels supplied. The spacious landscaped garden is fitted with an outdoor dining and lounge area, as well as a BBQ. The master bedroom is renovated with soundproofing insulation and a Smart TV. A soundproofed room has been built at the front of the house to provide a secure storage area for bicycles, surfboards and more.

Friends Holiday House is only a 2-minute walk to the local shopping center which includes a supermarket, pharmacy, newsagency, bottleshop, post office, laundromat, hair dressers, travel agent and cafe. Walking and cycling paths, a popular fishing beach and a swimming beach are all within a few minutes' walk from the property.

    There is a Nespresso coffee pod machine, a sunbeam coffee maker, a stove top pot and a plunger pot. byo coffee pods and/or favourite ground coffee. There is also instant coffee supplied.

  • How far from the beach? Are you on a main road and do we need to cross roads to go to the beach? We have a well trained Kelpie that would be with us.
    4 minutes walk to beautiful beach. Yes, on Bussell Hwy. No, you can follow the footpath/cycleway, Dogs will be CONSIDERED subject to STRICT terms and conditions.

    Don't need a shuttle. It is only 4 minutes walk along a footpath to the beach.

Enjoy the comfort and relaxed ambiance of the house and large backyard with plenty of places to relax, chat or socialise. The house was built circa 1955 with jarrah timber frame, flooring, architraves, etc, with high ceilings and the best of materials at that time. It was well designed as it still provides a feeling of space, light and peacefulness. The house is equipped with top quality modern appliances, furnishings and hotel quality linen. There is everything you need, including large washing machine and dishwasher. Great location as it's only 2 minutes' walk to shopping centre and 4 minutes' walk along safe and picturesque canal to the most beautiful part of Geographe Bay where you can swim in crystal clear, calm waters. The cycle way runs parallel to the beach in both directions and you can walk along the beach to the jetty in about 20-30 minutes. The property is in a great location near the beach and shops and abounded by other large properties, also with beautiful trees, and quiet, friendly neighbours. It's convenient to all of Busselton's attractions and amenities and is very safe and secure. My aim is to increase the number of returning guests.
I love Busselton and returned to this, my home town, about 18 months ago, though I've been having guests at the property since March 2013. It provides me great pleasure to have guests stay and enjoy the house, garden and surrounding attractions. I am continually improving the property and like to create/provide character pieces in and around the house. I love the garden...with a focus on the beautiful 150+ yo peppie tree and will continue to develop the garden further to create 'rooms' with beautiful plantings and an organic veggie patch. I also have plans to keep improving this beautiful Busselton home, without losing any of it's special characteristics.
West Busselton has always been considered a beautiful place to live and visit. It is just outside the CBD and close enough to walk (20-30 minutes) or drive 5 minutes. My home "Friends Holiday House" is surrounded by large blocks with mostly traditional Busselton homes and big backyards...so plenty of space and privacy with friendly and quiet neighbours. The West Busselton shopping centre (2 minutes' walk) is very popular with locals and tourists. You will find people very friendly and can have a chat with people you meet along the pathway to the beach and on the beach..anywhere you go in this region. I love it!
