Sorry for the late reply. We have a queen bed in a divided off area from the lounge kitchen area where we can add a single bed and a foldout bed.

  • Hi, is it possible to put an extra single mattress into a cabin? On the ground is fine. Thanks

We have a single bed in both cottages in addition to the queen bed. We can also bring up a portable fold-out mattress as well - though it does make the cabin cozier!

  • Is there reception out here. Everything else is perfect thank you

The main residence is located 500m away from the cottages (so that you can have a secluded/private holiday!), so whilst there is no reception per se, we are onsite and available for any issues that arise.

  • Are there farm animals there to get involved with ?

Not actively, we do have chickens and some sheep down near our main house which are friendly (especially Winston our sheep!) but we do ask for you to organise with us in advance. The cabins are surrounded by native flora and fauna to view/hear.

  • good evening, is this place secluded? we do prefer to just keep to ourselves with the 2 tots 😊 thank you

Hi! We think our two cabins are nice and secluded, they are 500m past our home, and not visible to anyone. The two cabins are approximately 50m apart and the BBQ area is shared. We have had guests book both cabins to ensure privacy though!

  • Hi, is the property fenced to contain dogs?

In direct emails as well as booking platforms we like to send this speal to all clients with dogs: With dogs if they are large we do prefer that they sleep on the veranda but if they are inside dogs as long as you bring their own bedding then they are very welcome too. The area is fenced but would not be secure so we do ask that they are in your control at all times as we do have sheep and cattle on the property and there could also be pets and small children at the other cottage.

  • How can I find out if I can bring my dirt bike up and ride around the property also how many acreage is there on the property...

Excellent questions! We are on 260 acres, and if the dirt bike is registered you can use it to get in and out of the property, but cannot use it to ride around the property. Our insurance wont cover an accident and it could disturb our other guests.

Peace and tranquility abounds at Gaddleen Grove where we have two self contained red gum cottages on our 260 acre property The rustic look Cottages, but with all modern conveniences, were established for couples getting away to recharge their battery but have grown over the years for couples with children and also pets. With timber floors and full length veranda adding to the space - we offer all clients a relaxing place in your travels or a longer stay to see what the region has to offer. Views from your veranda while listening to the abundant bird life is magical and if going for a walk kangaroos, echidna, lace monitors and if lucky wallaby can be sighted.

Gaddleen Grove is named after its two creators: Stuart and Noeleen Gadd. The pair bought the 260 acre property in 1996. With no water, power, house or road, Stuart and Noeleen had a “blank slate” in front of them. The property now boasts paddocks, fencing, shedding, roads, dams, an orchard, and the main house. By 2002 both Bluewren and Treecreeper Cottages were complete, each capturing the views of their land and location. In 2020, the Cooper-Cahill family of Josh & Vicky Cahill and Ron Cooper took over the business with great care and excitement.
