Staff are friendly and very helpful. The setting is beautful, and I like the recycling of furniture and in the gardens. Breakfast was yummy and the fruit was delicious. Position is close to lookouts and walking trails.

Keith, the owner of the lodge, was very accommodating and provided great local recommendations. His ‘Garden of Eaten’ had all sorts of fruits and his passion for eco tourism inspired me to travel more sustainably. The location was lovely, and Keith’s sense of humour is great.

Fantastic location, a walk from Tibro mountain. Close to cafes and restaurant in town. Lovely breakfast on the verandah listening to the birds. Will definitely be staying again!

this is a excellent peppery.. Keith was amazingly welcoming and he made sure that our stay was fantastic

Great location with views from the property. Beautifully landscaped , lots of birdlife. Lovely fresh breakfast on the deck. Great place to relax for a few days.

Everything was delightful. Our room was great and everything catered for. The place was situated in beautiful surroundings with a spectacular view of Mt Tibrogargan and close enough to walk to from the site. I loved the history of the place and Keith has combined all that history with nature. He also makes great home brew and jams from the various fruit trees he has planted. There's many quirky things around the site where everybody is welcome to investigate with lots of historical /educational information regarding the site and surrounds. I'd like to give a special thank you to Keith who looked after us, provided great advice and took the time to make us feel welcome.

Unfazed by our early arrival and accommodated our needs. Very hospitable host (Keith). Fabulous breakfast ($12.50 each). Cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, plunger coffee, toast etc. Shared kitchen/dining in a vintage train carriage was excellent. Very well located and with a sense of humour ("Frog parking only, others Toad")

We were drawn to the property due to the novelty of sleeping in a train carriage - yes, even adults can be excited by things like this. The host, Keith, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We'd had a mix up with our booking, through wholesaler, however he was able to resolve this. The place is so quirky and unique - definitely a labour of love. Every corner you turn there is another surprise, from the world's smallest coffee shop, the large garden ornaments, library and more. We'd love to return with a group of friends and hire out the whole place. It is very peaceful there. Keith puts a great amount of time and effort into the breakfasts as well, which is great value for money.

Lovely, great host, my kids loved also the garden visit

Beautiful surroundings and Keith was a wonderful host putting on a lovely breakfast each morning. Great accommodation for a small family.
