We loved everything about Gooromon Park Cottages! Margaret and Phil were amazing hosts, very helpful giving us special tips to explore the region. We loved everything about our room: extremely well decorated, had everything we needed (and more!), very comfy bed, we simply loved it! The bathroom was sensational, modern, with a bath, and toiletries were provided. The view you wake up to is speechless! The property is also close to everything, even though you feel you are far from everything - as it is so peaceful there - you are so close to everything you need: wineries, restaurants, even a chocolate factory, and also minutes away from the CBD. We loved everything about the property! We can't wait to plan our next trip to stay at Gooromon Park Cottages again!

My wife and I will love to go back to relax here as soon as we have some holidays. We would recommend these cottages to anyone. Also there are 🏇 riding facilities and lessons offered.

Lovely - quiet & private, picturesque outlook, warm & cosy, very comfy bed, the ideal couple's getaway. The cottages are within easy driving distance to all Canberra's main attractions, loved Hall Markets & Gold Creek Village. For dinner we happily bought takeaway from nearby Nth Belconnen & ate in front of the television after a full day of exploring but Gold Creek restaurants are only 5 minutes drive if you like table service. Margaret & Phil are wonderful hosts, nothing is a trouble & they are only too pleased to answer any questions without being in your face.

Peaceful, quiet, SUPER bed and sofa! Already a lovely setting but so many thoughtful little touches made this stay a treat, not just somewhere to stay while I had work to do. The treats in the fridge were WONDERFUL. That and a warm welcome from Phil were such a welcome relief after a horrific AirBNB booking I ran away from. I was exhausted but managed to catch up on sleep and rest despite it being a work trip. Good wifi too!

Located in the hills of the Hall wine growing region, Gooromon Park Cottages offer a private patio with views of the Brindabella Mountains and countryside. Guests enjoy horse riding, free continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi.

The air-conditioned cottages include a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities. Each cottage has fluffy bathrobes and a Japanese-style bathtub for 2.

You can learn to ride a horse at the on-site Horse Riding Center, which offers instruction for all ages and skill levels. The property also offers free bicycle rental and luggage storage facilities.

the owner walked right into our cabin to collect our information and payment. Continental breakfast was supplied and there was a great selection of goodies but you had to cook your toast, and boil the kettle in a cupboard and wash and dry up your dirty plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery in the bathroom sink. When using the shower in the bathroom the toilet and floor all got soaked as there was no screen on that side of the shower. there was also meant to be a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival but there was not. Would have been nice to have a gate on the balcony so that the owners dog would not slide open the screen door at 6am in the morning..

Bit fiddly using the bathroom sink for washing dishes tho we knew from the room description about this.
Excellent breakfast provisions. Clear instructions for getting into the cottage. Lovely country view and very quiet location tho not far out of the city. Nice country pub a short drive away

I wish I could afford to come here weekly as I will need to next year! Nothing not to like. This is where we'll be staying next time we come to Canberra for a getaway.
