I loved the night sounds from our tent. The access to the beach was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to have free usage of snorkel and flippers. I liked the out side shower just off the board walk.

A friendly relaxing atmosphere which runs according to island time. The people it attracts are versatile from a range of backgrounds, all keen to share their experiences. NO SMOKING Geoff, the owner,has an enamoured personality which spreads to all around him. The island is slowly recovering from the cyclone and political disputes with investors and is still in need of development to sustain the already built infrastructure. Additional time also needs to be given to signage on paths and maintenance, but the islands 17 wonderful beaches offer protection from the prevailing winds and great snorkelling, diving and fishing opportunities. I’ll come back 😎

Loved the laidback ambience from the moment we stepped on to the sand from the 30-minutes ferry trip from Yeppoon. Loved the hammocks, our Glamping tent was extremely comfortable even for us retirees!!! Kitchen amenities beyond expectations. Amazing range of rice cookers, to sandwich makers to bbq and fry pans. Excellent fridge/freezer availability.

    At the restaurant 2 minutes walk. We strongly suggest you bring groceries on the ferry with you...we have a great central kitchen. Regards, Geoff

    We do not include the ferry in our prices. There are 2 companies to choose from Freedom Fast Cat and Keppel Konnections

  • Are you able to book 2 x tents side by side or near each other at least ? We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids.

  • Hi there, what restaurants are there close by? I see there is a kitchen there we can cook in too. But just wondering what our dining options are :)
    Hi. There are no restaurants or dining in the village but a well equipped kitchen for your use. The Hideaway resort has a public bar and restaurant just up the way, and Tropical Vibes cafe do a good burger for lunch. That's it on the island!
