AustraliaAbsolutely gorgeous country cottage. The owners are very passionate about providing their guests with a great get away. We loved all of the little details in the cottage, the beautiful view from the balcony and the delicious breakfast basket. Most of all we loved the outdoor BBQ area and fire pit that was ready for us to light each night.

The bed was comfortable and there was a generous breakfast hamper full of local products. The kitchenette is equipped with the basics you would expect, plus there is a communal BBQ area with a fire pit and pizza oven.

Greenlee Cottages are four contemporary cottages with rustic charm set in Scenic Rim, with a backdrop of Greenlee Farm macadamia orchard. The cottages accommodation between 2 and 4 people. Woodcutters Cottage is disable friendly so all guests can enjoy the beauty of the surrounds. Soak up the great views of the Canungra Valley from the deck. Listen to the Canungra Creek flowing by. Relax with a good book. Immerse yourself in nature with native wildlife and birdlife on your doorstep. Wander through the macadamia orchard and see what we do on the farm. Enjoy the comfortable queen beds and the rustic touches in the bathrooms. Each cottage has its own welcoming feel. Wifi is available. There are photos in each cottage of the Woodcutting era of the 1880s around Canungra. Indulge in a breakfast basket full of food sourced from the Scenic Rim that you can cook in your kitchenette. A BBQ Gazebo is available for your use at any time.BBQ Packs can be arranged with notice. A firepit is set up for your use to sit around and admire the beautiful night skies. Only one hour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
We are a working macadamia farm. As guests to our cottages, you are welcome to wander into the orchard and see what we do at the processing shed when harvest is on. We recommend that you wear fully enclosed shoes whenever you are wandering around the property. The creek is a great place to unwind after a hot day. Sit amongst the rock pools with a glass of bubbles or stubbie of beer. For the keen fishermen we have a fishing hole. Australian Bass, catfish and Mary River Cod can be caught. Bring your rod and lures
We are in the Canungra Valley which is the entrance to Lamington National Park. World renown for its many bushwalks and birdlife. Other bushwalking opportunities are nearby with Tamborine Mountain. We are next door to Sarabah Estate Vineyard and a couple of kms from O'Reillys Canungra Valley VIneyard so plenty of opportunities for wine tastings and lazy lunches. (we are a perfect place to stay if you are attending a wedding at either of these venues) If history is your thing, Canungra offers plenty with the woodcutting era of the 1880s when Canungra had a sawmill and a tramway was built to transport the logs. Learn more at the Visitor Info Centre and visit Laheys Tunnel. Canungra Creek is a boundary to our property and has pristine water running by. If your lucky you might see a platypus. Canungra township has a thriving café precinct with 4 cafes to choose from. Perfect for getting a caffeine fix and watching the world go by.
