This was a perfect little cottage . Everything about it was lovely.

Lovely one bedroom cottage with beautiful rural views. Very well provided for with good kitchen, great deck, nice bathroom and comfy beds. Host was lovely and very helpful with our perhaps unusual desire, to cook a small roast for dinner after eating too many takeaways! After a few false starts in understanding how the combination microwave/convection oven worked and use of the Weber on the deck, it was all systems go.

The serenity was beautiful, looking out to the farm and the animals. The cottage was cute and cosy with everything we needed. We enjoyed it that much we decided to stay in for dinner on our last night and cook a bbq on the deck. Elaine and her husband our host were lovely and so were their pet Labrador and kitty who enjoyed many pats.

The rural view and peaceful setting was the best feature! The fire pit, deck and bbq areas were also a real benefit. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was exceptionally clean. The artwork on the walls was really nice. We chose to stay here due to the proximity to the George Town MTB trails and we weren't disappointed. For us this was a better option than staying in George Town. There is good food and coffee nearby at the Cabin at Exeter. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again!

Although our cottages are 1 bedroom and ideally suited to couples, there is a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. Both cottages have lovely views over the dam, farmland to the bush and mountains beyond. Sit on the decking with a drink and watch the wildlife.
