Hygge is a Danish word meaning "to create a warm atmosphere & enjoy the good things in life with good people". Hyggebo is a lovingly restored 1920's weatherboard home in sought after South Katoomba. This comfortable, warm and bright home embodies the spirit of hygge! The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen-sized beds and built -in wardrobes, and the third with 2 bunk beds. All linen and towels are provided. Relax in the living room in front of the toasty warm fire place while listening to your favourite tunes on the sound system, or watching a DVDs. A selection of board games and novels are also available. The bathroom is clean, bright and modern and houses a washing machine and dryer. Complimentary toiletries are supplied. A baby bath is provided. The kitchen leads through to a sunny dining room furnished with a 6 seat table. A high chair is available. The large backyard is fully secure and child friendly. A sun drenched terrace is home to an alfresco eating area and BBQ facilities. A children's area equipped with a little persons dining table, an easel and a selection of games and toys will keep them entertained for hours. An infants cot is available on request.

We are Lisa and Ken, owners of Blue Mountains Hygge Stays. We live in the heart of the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia with our 2 gorgeous boys, Jesper and Nikolaj. After years of travelling as a couple and now with 2 young children, we have come to know what travellers want in a holiday rental.
