We are two families who have skied at Thredbo since our teenage years and have owned a little piece of 'paradise' in Thredbo since 1994. We have loved bringing up our children skiing and making life's precious memories, even skiing with grandparents ( still skiing at 87 years old) and now great grandchildren making four generations of family still skiing together. The Parker and Balthazaar families welcome you into our special place that continues to keep us happily and harmoniously together. Our motto is "a family that skiis together - stays together" and so it shall continue.
Property info
Jagungal is named after a dominant peak, called Mount Jagungal by aboriginals in the centre of a region known as the Jagungal Wilderness Area, part of the Kosciuszko National Park in Southern New South Wales. Our property 'Jagungal', is twenty years old and as current owners,we have enjoyed it for thirteen years. It is a warm, inviting, stone and timber home away from home and we have decorated it in the Northern American ski tradition, layered with European and Japanese artifacts from our wonderful family overseas ski holidays. We have three distinct levels, much light, lots of space for families to separate and come together, a deck with BBQ and a delightful grassy or snowy outlook to relax and play upon ( anyone for Boules?, cricket ? or the locals snowball fight?). We have a newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen allowing you to cook up the perfect holiday feast. There are three designated carparks next to the house and it is only a short walk to the village, the Australian Institute of Sport/Swimming Pool and the 'shuttle bus' to both Friday Flat and Crackenback/ Supertrail ski areas.

Thredbo is a beautiful alpine village in the Snowy Mountains. We love the space and freedom of the beautiful Australian bush and snowy mountains, the fresh cool air, the snowy winters and heart warming summers, the revitalising outdoor pursuits and the calm, serene indoor activities, but mostly the enjoyment of coming together of families and friends.
