The views from our back patio/yard were beautiful, it was overlooking the hills and was the perfect spot for watching sunrises and sunsets. The surrounding areas were also nice and quiet and the location itself was very open (there were no gates or fences that blocked us in). The location was also perfect as it wasnt too far away from the main town (it was a really nice drive down the hill) and was also fairly central to wineries/points of interest that were around the area. Our room was also nicely equipped with a fridge, a few pots/pans and an electric stove to cook simple meals. We also had a kettle, coffee press, microwave and a toaster oven, and the room was very clean overall. Our bed was also really comfy and the WIFI was decent. Fin was lovely and greeted us at the front of our room, and also pointed out a few locations that were useful for getting around (like restaurants, etc etc).

The location was great for us, 4 Kms out of town and gorgeous outlook. Really quiet. A mix up with Booking.com meant we ended up with adjoining rooms which was just great for us at no additional cost. Comfortable beds, lots of space and beautiful bird song in the morning was lovely

  • hi we camped a couple of years ago. looking at the apartments this time for july. could we brig our two small cavoodles? non shedding! thanks
    Hi there. unfortunately we don't allow pets in our studio suites. we recommend Karri Mia Bungalows next door as they allow you to bring dogs. If you are able to get a pet sitter, we would love to have you stay with us again. Fin James

  • How much per night for caravan sight off season. Thank you.
    Thanks for your enquiry, the ensuite sites are usually $50 per night in our off peak season. in winter we reduce our rates to $45 per night. we also do discounted rates for longer stays. Regards Fin James.

Situated in the heart of Denmark's wine region, with beautiful rural views, you will love the ambiance of our peaceful mountain retreat. With only 8 x rooms, our property is perfect for couples, small groups or families. Enjoy a sundowner on your private patio, or take a stroll around the grounds, taking in inlet and ocean views. All our rooms have comfortable queen beds, (some with king singles) lounge suite, semi self contained kitchen, with bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and glassware, we also provide tea, coffee, sugar and milk for your arrival. Wi-Fi facilities available and a playground onsite for the kids! We also have laundry facilities and a BBQ area onsite for our guests to enjoy. Only 10 minutes drive to beautiful beaches and 5 minutes to town and within walking distance to restaurants. ** BOOKING NOTE: LONG WEEKENDS 3 X NIGHTS MINIMUM STAY ** CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR 5 X NIGHTS MINIMUM STAY **
We are a small, family run business, who are passionate about our local area and it's attractions. We are happy to share our local knowledge with all of our guests and enjoy dining out at our many cafes and restaurants. Beach walking and bush walking are also favorite past times.
Denmark is a popular place to visit, with it's beautiful beaches for surfing, swimming and fishing, wineries, restaurants, walk and cycle trails, Valley of the Giants tree top walk, arts and music. Close to Albany and Walpole, it's a fantastic base to explore the south coast. We are situated on Mount Shadforth, only 5 minutes drive from Denmark town, with breath taking forest and rural views.
