We are a new renovation of the old Mosman Hall hospital. Our first 15 units were completed in November 2016, with great effort being taken to keep as much of the original building structure and materials, in particular the lovely old timber floors. The interior design aim to keep the old 'heritage' feeling as well as make the apartments as homely as possible but at the time offering clean and modern facilities and surroundings which enable guests to relax and enjoy the peace. We have 10 one-bedroom apartments, 5 two-bedroom apartments and a range of smaller one-bedroom studios and mini-suites at our Annex. We can also close off one bedroom of the two-bedroom apartments to make a single bedroom apartment for a lower rate, so please contact us if this is something you require. Please note that our property is completely child-free which means that children under the age of 18 are not permitted at the property at any time, either as guests in the apartment or as visitors. Many of our guests stay with us because of the peace and quiet the child-free policy allows, but we will be adding family-friendly accommodation at later phases of the development in other areas. Twin beds MUST be booked in advance please.

Charters Towers has some great tours and museums for visitors interested in the city's gold mining history, or to learn about its current cattle or educational interests. It's worth hanging round for a few days to see what we have to offer, and combining your daily activities with a relaxing and peaceful stay at Kernow.
