The view is amazing, the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The house is stunning, plenty of room and places to sit and relax. There is everything you need and more in the awesome kitchen. The owner was wonderful. The house was extremely clean and warm with ducted heating and a gas fire. Very relaxing to sit out on the deck with a local wine, cheese and a nice cool breeze. Just the perfect distance from town.

What's better than enjoying a Highlands experience, than sharing it with your friends and family. From the moment you drive through the wrought iron gates, the natural tones of the bluestone walls and sandstone features make you realise very quickly that Kilburn is something quite special. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there is plenty of accommodation for 10.There are formal and informal living areas, rich timber tones, Celtic inspired decorations combine to create the charming highland theme. The beautiful north facing balcony provides you the opportunity to sit back and contemplate while the day lazily drifts by.Retreat to the lounge room as the day closes out and bask in the comfort of the ducted heating.Be tempted to soak away the adventures in the delicious clawfoot bath while enjoying a glass of the local drop. Set on over 2 acres of grounds and gardens Kilburn sits high and proud offering some of the most vivid views of the surrounding farmlands, commons and ranges. Originally a dairy farm, Kilburn has two horses 'Bubba' and 'Harry', a small dog 'Charles', a cat 'Cecille' and a few chooks. You are welcome to meet any of the farm residents as you discover the grounds.
