Absolutely brilliant location right in the surf beach with balcony to take it all in, literally next to the restaurant in town which just happens to have brilliant food menu and lovely young hosts. The property location is right on the coastal walking tracks which offers access to some of the most photographic scenery along the Bay of Fires. The property is clean and is fully self contained we we would not hesitate to stay there again.

  • When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?
    If swimming and sunbaking is your thing, anytime between start December and end March is a great time. Bushwalking, beach walking and mountain biking in this district are super all year round.

  • Hi, are pets allowed inside? We are coming for one night and our dog sleeps in his bed inside.
    Yes, Kingfisher Cottage allows a small-medium size dog inside, but with their own bedding. There is no fenced yard at the property.

Having moved to Binalong Bay more than 15 years ago, I found the area so beautiful I just wanted to share it with the World. What better way than to manage a few holiday homes, and let guests come, get looked after, and enjoy the area as much as I do!

Kingfisher Cottage has THE best location in Binalong Bay. Situated just meters away from the most beautiful beach you will find, and a few steps from the local restaurant. Everything is at your fingertips. The cottage has two bedrooms, all mod cons - yet still a gorgeous beach relaxed vibe. The views from the comfortable deck furniture look right up the Bay of Fires to the lighthouse, some 30 kms away. A short walk has you exploring the lichen covered rocks the BAY OF FIRES is famous for.

Neighborhood info

The BAY OF FIRES is one of Tasmania's World Renowned heritage areas. With aqua waters and fine white sandy beaches, it is an amazing place to wind down and be one with nature. There are many lichen covered rocks just meters away from Kingfisher Cottage. Hike the beaches, the bush, ride the mountain bike trails, bring your boat and get out on the water. Take an Eco Cruise up the Bay of Fires - eat at the amazing restaurant just two doors away. Everything is within walking distance of Kingfisher Cottage! Merestä Eatery is just a minutes walk so a great place to dine, and not have to drive!
