Great location, property was located on 32 acres yet close to town. Peaceful & private. Cottage was exceptionally clean. Hosts were friendly & helpful with info about Mudgee , surrounds & tips on what to see & do.The little extras like chocolates, port, binoculars , picnic basket were thoughtful touches. Indoor fire was great too given our visit was during winter.

The location was fantastic, not too far out of Mudgee, nice and quiet and private. The owners were lovely, came and introduced themselves. Allowing our pet dog inside the cabin was the added bonus. Can't wait to go back

We loved how comfortable and cosy the cottage was. It was much more than we were expecting The fire place was lovely at night. The host was was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, private and quiet yet an easy drive into town. The host had thought of everything with lots of little touches that made the stay very pleasant. We were very happy we decided to stay outside the centre of town. There was lots of information about the region, places to see and vouchers for wineries collated in a folder in the cottage which was helpful.

The cottages are set up to make for a cosy stay. Well stocked for lots of wifi-free activities like stargazing or bird watching with binoculars, picnics, lazy happy hours of wine sampling, DVDs, music and wood for fires

Set on 33 acres of natural bushland, Bandalong Cottages offers 2-bedroom cottages, each with its own private access road. The cottages are a 7-minute drive from Mudgee and central to explore the nearby wineries.

Each cottage is set 150 feet away from the other cottages, insuring privacy at all times. The cottages have a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with wood heater, flat-screen TV, reverse cycle air-conditioner and a private gas BBQ on the deck. Each has electric blankets, a hairdryer, DVD player, books, magazines and games. All linen is supplied and there is an on-site laundry with ironing facilities.

Bandalong Cottages - 33 acres of paddock, bush & native wildlife - neighboring farming land & vineyards Our 3 fully self-contained 2 bedroom private cottages named Kurrajong, Cypress and Stringybark; approx 40 metres apart, with your own private access just 6-mins / 5.5kms to Mudgee. Each cottage is suitable for 4 guests + 1 infant (portacot). Don't pack the kitchen sink, just bring your food/beverage and personal effects and settle in: - Fully equipped kitchen; microwave, oven, stovetop, coffee machine (pods), sandwich maker, popcorn machine (corn) - All linen supplied; towels, pillows & doonas (commercially laundered for your comfort & protection) - Free WIFI - 2 & 2.5 seater lounge/throws - Wood burning fire (wood supplied) - Your private Weber BBQ (gas) - Split system air-conditioning (heating/cooling) - Hairdryer & complimentary toiletries - Electric blankets - DVD player + DVDs - CD player + CDS / Bluetooth - Books, magazines, in/outdoor games - Onsite laundry/ironing - Property security - CCTV You're welcome to share (we live on site) our property to revive, reconnect, recharge in your own private space, at your own pace, in your own time.

Neighborhood info

Our nearest neighbours have sheep, cattle, grapes, olives, cellar door / tasting, cafe, and Mudgee Observatory is close by. The Mudgee Region has a close connection with the towns of Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos and make for a nice day trip to experience their historic significance. Wildlife walk freely through the property (roos, wallabies, deer and goat - sometimes), and we have 35+ birds to observe and listen to their symphony of song.
