Beautiful location not a far drive to Halls Gap. Our cabin was near the entertainment area and playground which was convenient for our kids. The standard cabin we stayed in was clean. The double bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

My partner appreciated the large well-lit mirror in the bathroom and a long mirror in the main bedroom. The shower provided plenty of hot water. The main room had a table and six kitchen chairs with couch comfortable enough that I dozed off. A separate bedroom was attached but locked. Could we lock the kids there? :-) There was a little outdoor area which would have been nice in warmer weather. The shop allowed me to pick up a Sunday paper before heading out for the day.

Clean, comfortable unit. Comfy beds. Everything we needed was supplied. The park was park and although quite busy, the noise level was never an issue. Good facilities and a great place to base yourself for trips into the Grampians or just to relax by the lake.

  • When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?
    The perfect beach holiday is from December through to early April, we have sandy beaches and clear water for swimming, kayaking or water skiing. However as we have magnificent lake and Grampians Views anytime of year is great for holidays.

  • Is lake Fyans good for Fishing? What sort of fish are caught there? The place looks beautiful.
    Lake Fyans is one of the premier fishing lakes in the Wimmera Region with regular fishing competitions held. It is stocked yearly with both brown and rainbow trout by Vic Fisheries. Both Redfin and Golden Perch are also caught in Lake Fyans.

We are situated directly on Lake Fyans, which is a fantastic lake used for recreational purposes, fishing (Brown & Rainbow Trout & Redfin), waterskiing and swimming are just some of the activities you can enjoy. Halfway between Halls Gap & Stawell so close to towns but far enough away to sit back and relax. Majestic views of Lake Fyans & the Grampians, short drive to Halls Gap Zoo, Wineries, Olive Groves.
