It’s hard to think of a better spot on the Gold Coast. Two minutes’ stroll and you’ll be on the golden sand with waves crashing at your feet. Untold dining, drinking and shopping options surround you. The convention centre is steps away. The light rail is so close you can leave the car at home to check out Surfer’s Paradise. Then there’s the place itself, with two Vegas style pools, gym, sauna, an outdoor entertaining area, private balcony and lovely master bedroom. Your holiday starts now. The Space Set in a classic brick apartment building, this apartment has recently been made over into an elegant modern haven. Essentially, it has the high ceilings, wooden floors and spaciousness of an older apartment, with the contemporary furniture, appliances and design of a new one.

Known to locals as Broadie, Broadbeach offers a slightly more relaxed alternative to Surfers Paradise. Not that it’s lacking for things to do. Obviously there’s a perfect beach, but there’s also myriad dining and drinking options, numerous parks and one of Australia’s biggest retail centres in the form of Pacific Fair. You won’t be bored.
