AustraliaJo and James are caring and thoughtful hosts. The layout of the house and rooms is clever as it provides good privacy while keeping a feeling of openness onto the garden. The property is very well maintained and it is a pleasure to stroll around the beautiful gardens while the kangaroos and birds are out and about. We found the size of the rooms to be adequate for a couple (cozy but not cramped and the bathroom is large) and tastefully decorated. James and Jo are also providing a delightful breakfast with plenty of choices and some cooked options prepared specially for the guests. We definitely recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone who wants an enhanced experience of Margaret River and will certainly be back ourselves!

Is there a shuttle available to get to the closest beach nearby? What are the other transportation options?The best way to get to Prevelly Beach is by car (5 minutes) or we have bicycles (20 mins). The only public transport is by taxi.Answered on October 25, 2019

Llewellin's Guest House is set in 8.5 acres of native bushland, surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. The ocean is 5 minutes by car.
The three guest bedrooms all have their own separate entrance via French doors and can be accessed just a few steps away from the car park. All rooms have their own outdoor table settings, a view out onto the bush and a communal additional seating area around barbecue area or lounge around down in the hammocks set down amongst the tall trees. There are two bicycles readily available for anyone wanting to explore the region, cycle into town or head off down to Surfer's Point at Prevelly beach.
All guest rooms have a large selection of teas, two types of coffee and cheese board with knife, quality Riedel Wine glasses & drinking vessels. The rooms are not huge but are a very good size with spacious fully renovated bathrooms with walk in shower cubicles and certainly have every amenity you require such as luxury mattress/linens/Batik robes from Bali, three pillow choices and local natural olive oil organic luxury bathroom products from the Vasse Virgin Soap Factory, to name a few. *BOOK DIRECT AND RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WINE*
The proprietors Joanna & James, originally from the south west of England, set up the Bed and Breakfast in November 2008 and having both previously been in the hospitality business, wanted to specialise in producing Gourmet breakfast using fresh local produce (when available) cooked by James (a trained cook).
Their guest house was quickly voted Trip Advisor's No1 Bed & Breakfast in Margaret River by their guests within one year of opening and in the top 12 in Australia and New Zealand. They received their first Traveller's Choice Award (the highest award in their category) in 2011 and worked hard to maintain this prestigious award for 5 years consecutively, putting them in the "Hall of Fame" first Bed & Breakfast to ever achieve this in the region and throughout Australia.
Their whole aim is to make sure your stay in the region is a most comfortable one, whilst making available the use of their vast knowledge of the region. Their love of the business, attention to detail, food and wine, hospitality towards their guests is what makes them shine and they are forever looking to maintain or higher their standards.
Margaret River town centre is 10 minutes by car in the opposite direction, where many restaurants, shops, cafes and local taverns can be found. Our location is unique, being away from the hustle and bustle of traffic noise, yet fine wineries such as Leeuwin Estate, Voyager Estate and Cape Mentelle, can be found just 10 minutes away off the Caves Road heading north or south and numerous caves can be explored also just 10 minutes away off the Caves Road heading south, together with beautiful beaches such as Gnarabup, Prevelly, Redgate and Hamelin Bay.
