We arrived as the power blackout occurred in eastern Victoria so didn't get a chance to use our 4-day booking. The management however was very good and refunded our booking without question as we had to leave due to uncertainty of the return of power to the area.

We ate at Tomahawks and Suganya’s and both were delicious.
We ate at Tomahawks and Suganya’s and both were delicious. Kate took us to Mountain Valley Tyres and Angelo was fast and courteous in replacing our tire. Bright is in close proximity to Mount Buffalo NP with excellent hiking trails. Would love to come back.

I was very lucky with the weather, as Bright was warm and sunny. Bright is a pretty town, with tall trees lining the streets. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants, a walking trail, public toilets near the rail trail, and a public market near the river on weekends.

The main reason to visit is the views of the surrounding alps in winter snow covers them and for skiers an doorway to the fields. In summer hiking and walking or visit the wineries all within driving distance. Paragliding is available Restaurants are limited in choice with self supporting accommodation a better choice in the many caravan parks one of the best features is the trees changing color in autumn

All rooms were well appointed, comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were filled with the most beautiful shampoo, conditioner, body, wash, hand wash, etc that you could hope for. Short stroll into the lovely town of Bright and easy access to cafes, restaurants, etc. Priscilla was a delight to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The managers were very obliging and moved two beds together so two single elderly ladies could each have a queen bed and were very friendly and immediately exchanged the items that did not work. Washing machine and dryer were very efficient and there was plenty of hot water. The autumn trees in the garden were beautiful colors as were trees in Beechworth and Bright.AAnonymousAustralia

Everything was clean and extremely comfortable. The trees in the camping ground were spectacular in autumn, and we found pine mushrooms in the beautiful pine forest over the road. The staff were amazing and even generously helped out our family when they found the house they’d rented nearby didn’t have linens provided. So kind!
