Location, close to the beach, was wonderful. The property was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Heat/AC worked well. BBQ and washer were nice to have.

Extremely comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The house was welcoming on arrival with a good sunny aspect and lots of light. It was walking distance to the beach and a short drive to the walks on the Freycinet Peninsula.

Property info

Mayakitana is a fabulous house in an elevated sun drenched position overlooking the golf course and distant forest. Set opposite the beach access track, you are a 5 minute walk to a safe swimming, surfing and fishing beach and a 5 minute walk to the golf course. This holiday house has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom opens out onto the deck and has a lovely view of trees and the golf course. The living area is quite large and open plan, with a wood fire (can be used between May to the end of September) Comfortably furnished throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals in the comfort of this house. There are stunning local Tasmania timber features throughout this house, including beautiful Myrtle bench tops, window frames and hardwood floors. There is a large veranda with outdoor furniture and BBQ so you can sit relax and listen to the peaceful sounds surrounding this quite location. Perfect for couples, families and friends to experience this amazing location of Coles Bay. This house is around a 7 minutes drive into Coles Bay and the Freycinet National Park.

There are many attractions here in Freycinet. In the Freycinet National Park you have the famous Wineglass Bay and the lighthouse, you can get information & maps on the walks and hikes in this region from the National Park office here in Coles Bay. There are also experiences such as: A unique and reputable food & wine tour called The Long Lunch Tour Co. Wineglass Bay Cruises where you can view Wineglass Bay via a cruise. 4WD bike tours with All4Adventures. Kayak Tours with Freycinet Adventures. Scenic flights with Freycinet Air. The Freycinet Marine Farm where you can sample local oysters and scallops A restaurant/ cafe "Geographe". There are also wineries in the area & Tombolo woodfire pizza's at Devils Corner. There are lots of stunning beaches for swimming and fishing and a golf course. There are also many attractions in the next town of Bicheno (only 25 minutes away), where you can go on a night time Penguin Tours and see Tasmanian Devils at Nature World.
