We found this gem last minute when our originally booked accommodation was a dump. An easy 15 min drive north of Cairns with the bonus of a Cafe with b'fast lunch and dinner right next door. Large and spacious with everything to cater yourself if you so choose. The only downfall for us but wouldn't be for everyone is we had our 90 year father with us, so the 3 sets of stairs to get in and out were a bit difficult. Great ocean views from the balcony, so a quick walk across the road to a patrolled beach. Great place 😀

Mediterranean Beachfront Apartments are larger than normal, self-contained luxury 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in a small low-rise complex located right on the Yorkey's Knob beachfront with magnificent ocean views. Centrally located accommodation on the beachfront at Yorkeys Knob, 15 minutes from the Cairns city centre and the international and domestic terminals of Cairns Airport are just 16 km away. Convenient for everything in Cairns, the Beaches, the Great Barrier Reef and the Rainforest. These fully self-contained luxury holiday apartments have guaranteed ocean views taking advantage of the cool Coral Sea breezes.
