We have a check out time of 10am so our Housekeeping team can make the room suitable for the next guest. Unfortunately we cannot offer late check out.

G'Day - When you arrive in to Tullamarine airport, you simply need to take the Skybus to Southern Cross station. You can then ask for a connecting transfer to the hostel. It is possible to book a shuttle bus to the airport from the hostel for $20. Please see reception for more information.

This could cost approx $50-$60. We recommend catching the SkyBus which runs every 15mins from 4:30am-midnight. It drops you to Southern Cross Station in CBD and then only short 5mins Uber/Taxi to Melbourne Metro YHA.

Hi, each floor has female bathroom and male bathroom separated. Each gender bathroom has a set of 4 sinks, 6 toilets and 6 shower cubicles. Female and Male bathrooms are accessible with your room card only

Hi there, Ye as long as the dorm is full, it does not matter if it's male or female dorm. It will be considered as private dorm.

Unfortunately Melbourne Metro YHA is not suitable for self-isolation or quarantine as most of our facilities are in a shared area.

Yes there is onsite parking for only $15 per day

Our family rooms have one double bed and two single beds. It can sleep up to 4 people.

At the moment check in is up until 10pm. If you need to check in later than that we have lockboxes outside the property where we can store your keys for your arrival if it is likely to be after 10pm. Please let us know in advance.

At this current time check in is between 2pm-10pm on the day of your arrival. Late check in can be arranged between the guest and the hostel but you need to get in touch with us directly to organise this.

When you book a bed in a dorm room all the beds will be in the same room.
