Located in a quiet street, close to city and major hospitals and universities, 10 mins walk to South Bank. Easy access to transport. This very green slice of suburbia provides a quiet respite from the bustle of city Brisbane. Enjoy the pool. Fully furnished, TV, Foxtel. Split, reverse cycle aircon throughout. Fast broadband - via wifi or hardwired ethernet. Off-street parking. All services including power, gas, water, and broadband internet access are included in the rent. The unit is tiled throughout and the living area opens out to a tiled patio with a barbeque and garden for growing vegetables, herbs etc. The kitchen has modern Meile equipment and the benches are Indian granite. The heated pool is accessed through the security / safety gate and is maintained by the Owner. Bedroom 1 has a queen sized bed, an ensuite and it opens out through french doors to the patio. Bedroom 2 has two king sized single beds. Bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have a shared bathroom and toilet. Work station desks are available in each bedroom.
Hi, I am a New Zealander and have lived in Australia for many decades because I married Genevieve from South Australia. We have four kids, now grown up. Our two girls live in London, one son live in Lyon, France, and our oldest lives near Maleny just north of Brisbane. I am a Civil Engineer (Structural) and I trained at the University of Auckland I also gained a BSc (Zoology) there so my interests are quite broad-based. I also love physics, cosmology and space travel, if only. Genevieve is a Registered Nurse and is very sociable. We both like to travel and so far have been to Europe and the UK, the USA, South East Asia and Taiwan, and New Zealand many times. We plan to go back to the UK and the Edinburgh Festival, France, and Spain for two months later this year.
The unit is in easy walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Southbank is 15 minutes walk and the Goodwill Bridge provides access to QUT, the Botanical Gardens, and the CBD. In the other direction it is a similar distance and easy access to Princess Alexandra Hospital south and the University of Queensland west via the Eleanor Schonell Bridge. Easy bus and train access. Bicycles are available for personnel use.
