The lay out - great open plan - very comfortable - spacious bedrooms - modern bathrooms

The house has a lovely view and spacious with different areas (TV, lounge/fireplace, kitchen/dining, rooms, outdoor) to cater to our group of 7. There are 2 bathrooms (listing not updated). The kitchen is fully equipped with great basic provisions (milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, oil etc). It was unfortunate we encountered a wet weekend and we were unable to utilise the inviting outdoor space (and outdoor oven) but enjoyed snuggling on the super large lounge around the fireplace with warm cuppas (thanks for providing the coffee maker + pods) and playing games. Our consolation was is we get to see so many kangaroos hopping around the outer area of the property !! Provision of washing machine and laundry liquid (not listed) was great ! The washing machine on spinning cycle produces a loud creaking sound - not sure why, propose the owner to check it out. All in all, we had a wonderful time and it is a perfect place for catch up with friends !

The location of the property was fantastic. The facilities were great and there was nothing to lack in the property. We all had a great stay at the property and would definitely return and recommend this property to others. We even got to see the resident womat.

Moosewood is a Farm House Accommodation set on 100 acres of bush and farmland backing onto the Morton National Park of Kangaroo Valley. It is a 10-15 minute drive from the enchanting Kangaroo Valley, with its cafes, country pub with kids play area in the garden, kayak and bike hire shops and much more. Its a short distance from the popular Bundeela swimming and picnic spot and the Valleys best horseriding trails are just next door. Our secluded land encompasses freshwater creeks, two dams, rainforest and pastures For active types, there are world-standard walking trails and mountain bike rides, should you wish to bring bikes (we are close to the end of the Southern Highlands Cannonball Run that comes down from Fitzroy Falls). For something more tranquil, there are some stunningly beautiful picnic spots with views of the Valley escarpment and nature and a beautiful newly renovated house to relax in. The property is home to many curious kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, eastern long-necked turtles, a variety of possums and marsupials. You will wake to the sounds of kookaburras and lyrebirds singing. Moosewood is 100 acres of spectacular bushland, private and secluded, yet around a 10 minute drive to Kangaroo Valley Village. House accommodates up to nine guests. WiFi and streaming available via satellite. Property includes a free Tesla charging station and complimentary late checkout usually available if organised pre-stay. The architect-designed house is arranged to include families and friends of all ages, for memorable gatherings and special events. It features four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and indoor and outdoor dining with gas barbeque. You’ll also love watching the sunset over the valley, sitting up at the large fire pit area which also includes a rapid heating wood oven to fire up that perfect pizza. Children and pets are especially welcome. Moosewood’s younger guests love kangaroo spotting, the huge trampoline, tyre swings and indoor retro games. While parents are happy that our very youngest visitors sleep and eat peacefully in the two portable cots and high chairs. Towels and toiletries are supplied as is all bed linen.
