So much more to see and do. Need lots of time to soak it all up.

A widespread choice of activities related to wine and fruit and cheese but with disparate activities such as breathtaking National Park walks within a short drive, a fantastic Christmas Farm that is definitely worth a visit and an overall selection of top shelf dining experiences but with all tastes catered for. The Granite Belt Brewery had incredibly good food, the cheeses were outstanding, as our cool bag can attest. We will be back, and soon, as there is so much more to see. Lovely people too.

Stanthorpe and surrounds are just lovely (especially in the cooler months) with food and wine tours, art and crafts, antiques and more. People are friendly and there is lots to see. Locals even recommended other towns and points of interest to visit (like Warwick and Tenterfield), markets and places to explore. Girraween National Park, Donnelly’s Castle are great spots to check out the massive and precarious boulders - a spectacular natural feature of the area. Cafe at Ballandean St Jude’s Cellar Door and Bistro made a delicious Sunday breakfast - busy with locals, bike riders, and visitors alike (quite busy). Tried to get into a couple of restaurants in Stanthorpe town but they were booked out (Anna’s Italian Restaurant came recommended, but we missed out)! Have been back to the region over they years and always find something new to see or do… but also enjoy returning to some favourite spots.

Great town with lovely atmosphere.
Great town with lovely atmosphere. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and a nice quiet place to stay just a few kilometres off the highway. We visited a few wineries on the way home and will definitely be back.
Our stay exceeded our expectations and we intend to re-visit early next year with some friends. We have also already recommended your Estate to some of our friends who are intending to visit Stanthorpe in the next month or two.
The cabin was extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay and relaxed and recharged. Sitting on the front verandah in the afternoon watching the sun set over the vineyard was our highlight. We really loved the fire!!! to take off the chill. All in all - 5/5!! Thank you!
Honeysuckle Cottages was about 5km out of Stanthorpe and just of the main road in from Warwick. The unit was very clean and the area lovely and quiet. Our host was super helpful with answering our questions regarding various venues etc around the area. The aspect of the unit we stayed in was also lovely, looking out over a pond. A breakfast hamper was supplied which had an abundance of local produce. Overall a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
Our cabin was nestled amongst bush land & beautiful granite boulders that really made us feel like we were in our own little world, even though we were only minutes away from Stanthorpe City. We loved the breakfast hamper filled with local produce & the selection of DVDs that allowed us to share our favourite ‘old’ movies with the kids. The cabin was clean & cosy, perfect for our two night stay. The staff were friendly & welcoming.
New condition of motel and the rooms were very clean, comparable to 5 star hotel standard and were equipped with air con/heating and TV in bedrooms and living room. Bed sheets were new and duck down quilts were very warm for winter conditions. Bath amenities provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Nespresso coffee capsules provided with machine and fresh milk. A mini kitchenette and microwave suitable for some basic cooking.
The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful tour of the farm and my six year old absolutely loved it. Breakfast and cooking supplies were fantastic (including some fresh eggs collected that afternoon). The hot bread in the morning was a lovely treat. The location is about an hour out of Stanthorpe but it's a beautiful drive and absolutely worth the effort.
The house was just perfect for a winter's trip away to Stanthorpe (or anytime really!). Very handy to centre of town but also to the main highways to tour the area. Awesome fireplace, and the house was so clean and tidy with lovely little touches everywhere. Very comfy beds too!
Julie is a very welcoming host, who provided all the options of what to do in the area.
The room we were in had a beautiful view out a large window over the park leading down to a pretty creek. Although the hotel has obviously been there a long time it has nice furniture and is clean. It is right on the edge of the town centre so very easy to walk back through the shopping area or to the really nice beer garden close by.
We went there with 4 family groups, the cottage was nice and specious however there’s no heater in the bedrooms. Luckily the fireplace was able to heat up the rooms. Other group who accommodating at model room did not get enough blankets, they’re freezing when air conditioner did not working so well.
Cute cabins with wood fire place inside. Tranquil and quiet amongst the trees. Great shower with very hot water for cold days. Good heater in the room too. Very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast box. Easy access to the brewery for a drink and a meal.
The location was excellent, in central Stanthorpe. Lovely and clean and everything you need to enjoy a break away with all the necessary facilities. Host was there to be contacted if you needed them but absolutely non-intrusive.
Cabin comfort and well equipped. Location was handy to other vineyards and Stanthorpe. Excellent layout of bathroom and kitchenette and living area. Nice verandah with views. Good wood heater all set up to light. Good wood supply.
A cosy cottage for two enjoyable cold winter nights in Stanthorpe. The owners of Whiskey Gully Wines are wonderful hosts ensuring you have everything you need without being intrusive.
