Property info

This is a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment with a queen bed and a splittable queen bed. There's also a cot and high chair available for free if needed. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot. (Please note that this apartment is just new to StayCentral, and the decor shown is not what will be in the refurbished apartment. It will be of a similar standard to that shown in our other apartments of course). Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Centrally heated and cooled, you will be comfortable all year round. There is basement secure parking for one vehicle. Access to the buildings rooftop deck, as well as the pool and gym are also available for your convenience. Perfect for four, the Southbank corporate apartment is brilliantly located; close to the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria), the Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, St Kilda Road, the Recital Centre & Melbourne city shopping. **Please note: We will collect credit card details prior to your stay to act as security. Property may also be subject to a refundable bond under some circumstances.

Neighborhood info

You will love the centrality of NGV Arts Centre Retreat. It is only a short walk from the Melbourne Recital Centre and MTC, as well as the NGV and the Arts Centre and Hamer Hall. Some of the best shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia are on your doorstep, with a short walk into the city. Melbourne CBD shopping centre, the Bourke Street Mall, Kings Domain Gardens, Federation Square, Crown Casino and the aquarium are all within easy walking distance. The tram stops are just out the front on Sturt St. You can enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country. Inner Melbourne and the nearby Southbank Promenade are famous for their world-class restaurants, shops and of course, Crown Casino. In addition, there are multiple food outlets, buskers and arts & crafts events. Just south of the Casino is South Melbourne shopping strip, and the famous South Melbourne Markets. Just north of QV1 is the Queen Victoria Markets where you can buy just about anything from groceries and meat to clothing and jewellery.

Please note that there is a 1.7% charge when you pay with a Visa or MasterCard and 3.42% for American Express. Check-in is from 15:00 hours. All guests will be greeted on arrival. For guests arriving between 22:00 and 08:00, an AU100 fee will apply. A surcharge of AU50 will apply to all arrivals on public holidays. All requests for early/late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. ETA changes need to be notified at least one hour in advance. If this is not done or the guest does not present themselves at the agreed time, an AU100 no-show fee will be charged. Payment of any kind cannot be made on arrival. A deposit needs to be paid at the time of booking, and the balance at least 7 days in advance of the arrival date. We will also require your direct email, a photo of you holding your photo ID and a list of guest names and ages to be uploaded into StayCentral's guest portal before your booking can be confirmed. For very last minute bookings or extended stays, a refundable bond of at least $1200 may be taken
