There are a lot of Mexican, Asian and Japanese restaurants but something to suit everyone.

Only stayed two nights, perhaps enough for elderly couple. Good local shops, had reasonable meal at the Services Club.
Nearly Xmas so very busy in town and on the beaches.
Hard to park car , but walking around local shops easy.
Glen Villa Caravan Park good location, and easy walk into town,
albeit a bit expensive for our cabin.

Such a beautiful location and people are so warm and friendly. I wish the weather had been kinder however we still had lots of fun. Lots to see and do and will definitely be returning. Fishes Heads is a fabulous restaurant, Crystal Castle for a truly holistic experience, crystal sound bowls, including wonderful gardens, amazing variety of crystals, and a wonderful cafe. Take away from Indian restaurant Bombay to Bryon is great in case of bad weather. Great shopping, also fabulous markets, got a gorgeous thai take away $16 each and we were stuffed, also lovely juices, mango, passion fruit etc, and they were sublime. Great crystals also from Rose Crystal I think. Check out clothing stores though as they do vary in price, (some are dreaming with over inflated prices ;)

Being a person who travels all over NSW for work, visiting...
Being a person who travels all over NSW for work, visiting Byron at least once a year, I find it is inherently over populated, with literally thousands of vehicles and people pouring into the seaside village killing any peace there may have been. 15 years ago when we first visited, it has become way over priced and over rated as a place to visit in Australia.
There is no parking, what parking there is, Council charges $5 an hour! So people won't stay long in town.
Be careful of tourist drivers, many drive on the wrong side of the road, pull out in front of you, speed around town and don't know the road rules.
Not to mention the bike riders and pedestrians who are constantly on the road disregarding their own safety.
Plenty of places to eat, bit hit and miss with quality, ask around and see where the locals eat.
Drinking out can be expensive, some more than others.
Look around for accommodation, it can also be hit and miss, unfortunately there's not much under $180 a night and that doesn't mean it's good.
What a gorgeous house. Such a beautiful and well styled space. Felt homely right from the start which we loved. Big enough to share as 2 families, but also enough room to spread out and get away from one another if needed. The pool and outdoor deck area is an awesome spot to chill and relax. Kids enjoyed playing games on the lawn and hanging by the firepit at night. Short walk to the Byron Bay general store cafe. Short drive into town (or out of town!) Easily accessible through the communication sent - this was appreciated.
I loved the location and how convenient it was to get around everywhere to sight see. Close to the beach and Main Street of Byron Bay. It had wonderful facilities including a cafe out the front of the park that served great coffee and food with a smile and the park was also pet friendly which was awesome. The check in/out process was super easy and received quick and friendly communication from staff with any questions we had. Highly recommend and will be back.
I was happy to walk to Byron town, so long as weather permitted. But Ubers were easy and less than $10 too.
It was a bit dirty and the dorm was very 'lived in' when i arrived. The wild and mother nature all around is gorgeous and big drawcard. The local, 'in-house' massage (intuitive Balinese) was amazing too. It is a good, cheap price - but you do get what you pay for in this instance.
Everything was awesome. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and quiet. Even had a visit from a bush Turkey! Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay. Suffolk bakery right at your doorstep for a perfect coffee. Fantastic food and service from the park hotel. Can't fault this place
Breakfast were excellent. Location not too good as we thought the property was 400m from the Byron Bay Main Beach but can't get to it due to land locked by private properties including the caravan park. Had to walk there via the town until we were told abt Belongil Beach which could be reached by car.
The location was amazing! So close to the main township of Byron Bay and and being on the beach at the same time. Wonderful views of the ocean and country side . Walks in the local nature reserves and swimming in the ocean at you front doorstep. WOW!
This house was absolutely incredible for a little Byron holiday. Perfectly situated just out of the town, you get all the peacefulness of Byron Bay. The house had two
Amazing outdoor areas and two lounge areas. Will definitely be staying here again.
At the time it was the cheapest and reasonable accommodation with your own ensuite toilet and bathroom in Byron Bay for a quick visit. It was also convenient as I traveled with my push bike, I was able to lock it in front of my cabin.
Always a pleasure staying at Byron Bayside. Very handy to everything....cafes, bars, shopping and beach. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment always clean due to daily housekeeping. Very affordable for Byron and good value!
This is a great place to stay in Byron Bay, very close to the beach and walking distance to everything else. The appartement is spacious and comfortable. I loved doing yoga on the balcony. It was also very quiet.
Excellent location close to beautiful Belongil beach. Set back from the beach and secure. Lovely tree-house feel with lots of breeze. Great responsive service from Luxury Escape team.
The location - central to the Byron Bay action. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean and well laid out, especially the balcony looking out to the water.
The housekeeping is impressive as I own a cleaning business and was impressed as I have a keen eye and the cabins were cosy and being on the lake is calming
