Pelican Point Tasmania
At Pelican Point we're all about birds. The property is a unique wetland and grassland located 2 kms from St Helens and 8 kms from Bay of Fires. We offer you free roam of the 87 acres to discover some of the 48 species of birds that have been identified living/nesting here. Make use of the binoculars, the bird guide, the Pelican Point birdlife app and our private bird hide. It's mostly nature and quiet although at night be prepared to listen to the call of frogs, cicadas and some of the feathered residents.
Hello, we manage and reside at Pelican Point in one of the villas and do all work associated with office - accommodation styling and cleaning plus ground maintenance ourselves. So the chances are you will eventually meet us sitting on the mower or watering plants .. we welcome a chat and are happy to share what we know about the district. We are from Hobart and found this amazing grasslands in such close proximity to St Helens irresistible and in October 2022 we purchased PP. It's a hobby and business combined that we constantly trying to improve on .. we welcome particularly guests with an interest for birds, walks and photography. PP offers a wide landscape over Georges Bay and spectacular sunrises and sunsets .. space and quietness with beautiful surrounds. We welcome you, Sam(antha) and Jerome
