Pennyroyal is located in a beautiful valley nook within the Lorne Hinterland removed from traffic & noise. The natural acoustics are amazing and it’s only the kookaburras in the trees that will disturb you . Morning walks are breathtaking as you stroll past the apple orchid, around the lake, chat to the Alpacas and back up to your cottage where your day is just beginning. Children's imaginations abound on our property… with the endless possibilities of open grass fields, taking the boat out on the lakes and feeding the Alpacas apples or request a pit fire … whats not to like!

We are there when guests need us but we organise everything so well that you dont have to see us ... make our property your home for a weekend or a week.

Whats not to love - most of our neighbours are kookaburras, kangaroos, cows, echidnas and parrots. Oh and if your very very quiet a platypus. There aren't many places you can go to that are only 90 minutes from Melbourne, where you have 60 acres to yourself, 50 Alpacas for friends and a cosy cottage up on the hillside. Pennyroyal Valley has a peaceful charm about it - with no traffic or busy roads and just simple rural ambience in abundance. The Lorne Hinterland isn't far from the Great Ocean Road but the joy is this - you get to enjoy both worlds. Ocean & countryside... a rare find.
