Rydges Geelong, hotel in Geelong

Rydges Geelong is located in the heart of the Geelong Central Business District (CBD), 2 minutes' drive from GHMBA Stadium. It offers a swimming pool.

Modern, clean and welcoming. Great central location. Most comfortable bed I've been in, while away and we tried the 5 course meal in the Nautica restaurant and that was amazing! Every mouthful was an experience! Getting away in winter can be difficult but we had a great time in Geelong & surrounds and staying at Rydges made it a cozy experience.

Great location - we we're visiting for the football, so being located inbetween the city centre and the stadium was absolutely perfect. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars all nearby, but not so close that it was noisy. It was actually so quiet inside our room.

Eden Oak Geelong, hotel in Geelong

After a long day of meetings and presentations, guests staying at Eden Oak Geelong can take a dip in the outdoor pool or hot tub, which are both surrounded by a dining area and a garden.

Room was nice and warm on arrival. Decor and finishes were contemporary and pleasant. Rooms were quiet from other guests and position within a forest was very quiet for any other city noise. Breakfast dining hall and selection of many tasty items made it a real treat to wake up and look out the windows onto the surrounds.

Vue Apartments Geelong, hotel in Geelong

The room was fabulous - the bathroom was perhaps one of the best with the shower being step-less with no water entering into the bathroom thus keeping the bath-mat dry. The shower door opened into the shower too which was beneficial. There was a microwave for us to make our breakfast in. The view of the beach was great.

Although I went for a particular event/function, I imagine I could have spent a few days there, spending time, investigating or spending more time visiting places like the art gallery and wool museum, apart from anywhere else.

Geelong is a great destination for a week-end away which I have done a few times in the past with the family. The esplanade with the restaurants and bollards is always fun for the kids. You can enjoy a great view while walking on the walkway and there are some good restaurants .

Geelong a city in Victoria, more like a large town feel.

Geelong a city in Victoria, more like a large town feel. Vibrant pubs, bars and clubs, some quality restaurants and has some wonderful area around to visit, vineyards, historical sights swimming beaches and further afield surfs up. I've visited many times and enjoyed the hospitality of the people in Geelong , the waterfront is an added attraction with the YC and marina plus the foreshore restaurants. A good place to visit.

I do the Ironman event each year.

I do the Ironman event each year. I plan to come back and stay for a holiday lots to see, I love the bats and the Botanical garden. The swim circle thing is excellent although has a strong urine smell near the facilities. Lots of paths for cycling and the Barwon river has an excellent walking track all along. Great place for active people. If you're into food then you're in for a treat, lots of cafe and restuarants offering a great range of quality foods. I had some delicious crepes on the foreshor.

Brand new hotel. Room was well designed, the bathroom particularly so. Minimalist decor but pops of colour were attractive. I would recommend a stay for business or leisure. Maestro restaurant a pleasant ambience and good food. Breakfast had a good range. Public areas such as foyer and lift were sparkling clean. All staff were courteous, helpful and keen. Close to main amenities in Geelong.

Great facilities at the property. kids loved the island playground and tennis court. they had a spa as it was heated. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The property is close to the river as well as a short drive to the supermarket. Geelong waterfront is only 5-10 minute drive.
