Ranelagh House
Bourke Street, 2830 Dubbo, Australia – Great location - show map
This 1800's house is beautiful inside and out. Our (Gill) room was huge, breakfast was adequate and the pool and gardens were an added bonus. We especially loved the billiards table and played many games.

Loved the beautiful setting and history of Ranelagh House. Would love to know the history. The hosts were very approachable. Would love to next time stay in one of the bigger rooms.

The room, the kitchen facilities were awesome and well stocked, other guest were pleasant and welcoming, The grounds were great for my little dog,

Loved the billiard room and the period features. We enjoyed meeting other guests and their dogs. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the town. If we come back to Dubbo we will be staying again

Great old houses, plenty of land around the house. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Massive kitchen, large high ceiling rooms. Shared bathroom was fine.

It is a cozy family home. Everyone can find something to their liking. You can play tennis and billiards and swim in the pool. In the evening sit by the fireplace with a cup of hot coffee or retire to the library.

Love Ranelagh House....no cookie cutter motel...warm and inviting and feels like a dear old family home. . My husband taught my daughter how to play pool after dinner Have stayed here several times now breaking journey between Brisbsne and Melbourne.

We loved the ambience, space and opportunity to meet other travellers.

We have travelled throughout Australia and New Zealand , and this by far exceeds all other places to stay. The relaxed atmosphere and sharing with other families now new friends around fire in evening was outstanding. Recommend to all.....

Room was stunning ! Home beautifully restored :-)

Hi, Just wondering if my dog can sleep in the room with me? Also when i visit the Zoo can i leave him in here, He's well trained and obedient Regards JimHi Jim, a previous guest left his dog unsupervised in his room. The dog was anxious in a strange place and badly scratched the historic 1875 door and architrave. Pets can be safely left in one of the compartments in the pet cottage when you are out.Answered on August 15, 2022

Would you allow a west highland terrier to stay in the room -We allow well-behaved, house-trained dogs under 8kg to stay in the guest rooms. Dogs larger than that stay in the pet cottage which has 5 separate compartments and comfy pet bedding provided.Asked about: Fearon Queen Room with Private Bathroom • Answered on August 15, 2022
