A beautifuly designed and appointed apartment. We liked a vibe and clever coordination of color scheme between rooms to the smallest details. A quality furniture and very comfy beds. Great working aircons. The swimming pool is big and secluded enough with a direct access from the apartment that it felt like belonging exclusive to us. Nicola, our host was accessible during our two weeks stay and managed to fix minor issues very quickly. A truly memorable and very comfortable stay. Thank you!

I have stayed in this property several times and love it. Open, comfortable, stylish and private. Love the pool table, huge TVs and easy city location. Beds are super comfortable. Make sure you have dinner at bay leaf or Cock and Bull just around the corner.

    We have the Esplanade which is a mud flat and the Lagoon for beach like swimming. The closest beach would be Holloways Beach. There are local buses to beach or you could book a shuttle from the Hotel for extra cost - you would have to see Rydges Reception.

  • Hi there. It says this apartment is pet friendly, can you confirm this? I have a very well behaved friendly quiet dog and hoping to spend the weekend with the fur ball and my partner...from Port Douglas.
    Hi, Yes, it is suitable for a small dog :) There is a pet fee which is not included in the price and needs to be paid before arrival.

Our head office in the center of Cairns City near the main bus terminal is open 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday and our team of 17 staff are at your service. You're welcome at Freemans!

Property info

It is unlike any other apartment in the resort. The lounge area offers a large suite perfect for lazing in front of the huge 80" curved TV with Netflix. Free WiFi and a selection of board games, puzzles, and books in the bookcase for your entertainment during your stay. The airy rumpus room is equipped with a pool table, lounge sofa, and a unique glass-topped dining suite. All three air-conditioned bedrooms have quality mattresses and ceiling fans, two have queen size beds and wardrobes, the Master bedroom has a wardrobe, king-size four-poster bed, 65" Smart TV, a good size ensuite, sliding glass door access to the patio, a high chair and porta cot for your little one. The unit also comes with another tiled bathroom for guests. Bathrobes, slippers and high-quality towels and bed linen. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a refrigerator with ice maker provision in the door, dishwasher, stove, oven and all basic kitchenware. A coffee Nespresso machine is provided and a few other staples for your convenience. One undercover parking in the building carpark is included in your reservation as well as free access to all three resort swimming pools and a tennis court.

Neighborhood info

The Cairns Esplanade is the jewel in the Cairns crown. It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathway, exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well-maintained lawns. The expansive parks and gardens are beautiful. There is a concrete pathway along the beach and is a must for walking. A few minutes walk to gas barbecue areas, Muddy's Cafe (local fish and chips, burgers etc) and terrific water playground and jungle play area for kids. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping area). Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a big range of reef, rainforest, tablelands tours scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other specialty tours. There are some fantastic restaurants in Lake Street, behind the resort, as well as in the resort's reception building. There is also a mini-mart two minutes walk away in Lake Street
