We loved the location, sense of family history of the property and the generosity of being able to pick fruit from the garden. We also liked the philosophy of purchasing real artwork from the community. We are already planning some family or friends gathering there as a base.

Pet friendly with an outdoor dog cage was a big bonus! Peaceful location and easy access to town. Comfortable beds, lovely and clean and attention to detail throughout the house. Gorgeous garden.

We loved absolutely everything, what a special place. The photos really don't do this house justice, so nice & cosy. Thank you so much for sharing this hidden gem & for all the special touches. It has so much character & charm. We loved the game in the store room area, we love games. Loved having a pod machine, never used one before but we figured it out. The weather wasn't great at times so it could of been good to have a few more games for indoor. We really did love everything though! Couldn't fault anything, we went out on the boat multiple time & fished alot (no fish unfortunately) we absolutely love that it was dog friendly! Beds very comfy, heaps of wood to keep us warm on the chilly days. Heaps of land to run around & nice cottage gardens. Plenty of room to park just wonderful. I'm sure I've missed heaps but we really enjoyed out time away & hope to make it back in the future.

It was beautifully presented and had a stunning vista. We would have enjoyed it more had we had more time but unfortunately ours was a quick visit and we could not do the property justice. We were very intrigued by the picture of the air leg miner in one of the bedrooms as my husband has been an air leg miner in his time.

    Yes it’s just for your use, you have the whole house to yourself, it’s the only feature booking.com allows as to pick as it doesn’t have private lounge as option

The house is one of the oldest homes in the Huon Valley, its been part of the family since it was built and has seen many happy family gatherings. We would love you to share the unique experience the house and location has to offer. Use it as your base to explore the food and environment the Huon Valley has to offer.
Roger lives on Bruny Island and has opened the family home to others to enjoy. I run a business doing curtains and blinds in the Houn Valley.
The home is in the centre of Huonville walking distance to all amenities. As it the last house in the street there is no through traffic and its the only home on the banks of the river.
