The house was in an amazing location with fantastic views. The host has amazing attention to detail..everything you could possibly need was in the house. She even left bikes and helmets for us to use. The house was full of character and finished with luxury touches. Leather rockers, leather modular lounge, velvet couch. The kitchen was luxury and the dining area seating looked out onto the harbour. My husband and I wanted a relaxing holiday we were able to walk to most restaurants and pubs. We had a restful nighs sleep in a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda with a coffee or wine. Will be back!!! Thankyou it was just what we needed.

  • Hello Are pets allowed in the house? I have a very well behaved dog who spends most of his time inside (he is not allowed on furniture)
    Yes, well behaved dogs are very welcome inside the house but we do expect guests to ensure that their dogs do not climb on furniture or beds.

Rowley House is a spacious, beautifully appointed heritage house that has been sympathetically renovated and modernised. It is the perfect home for discerning guests and the epitome of holiday luxury. Rowley House is within easy walking distance from the town centre, and close to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and parks. The house has some stairs to get to the front door that people with mobility difficulties may find a challenge. Rowley House offers a suite of modern conveniences e.g. WiFi and Netflix. The beautifully appointed kitchen with its magnificent Falcon cooker will make cooking and entertaining a pleasure. Luxury touches such as a Nespresso coffee machine will make your stay memorable.
We bought Rowley House in 2009 in a derelict state. Over the next three years we have extensively renovated and modernised Rowley House. After living there for four years, we now offer other people the opportunity to share this experience.
Rowley House is within easy walking distance from the town centre, and close to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and parks. My favourite restaurants in Albany all have views, Three Anchors, Garrisons, Due South and Emu Point Cafe. There are also some very good restaurants within easy walking distance from Rowley House - Venice is an absolute favourite family restaurant for everybody living in Albany- be sure to book. Some of the must see attractions of Albany is: 1. National Anzac Centre. When you are in the area, which is very close to Rowley House, your could also take a drive up to the war memorial which offers 360 degree views over Albany. 2. Natural Bridge & Gap which is a spectacular Southern Ocean experience. 3. Whale World, a view into the cruel whaling past of Albany which was the last operating whale station in Australia. 4. Little Beach which has been voted one of the best beaches in Australia. A day trip to Denmark is also a memorable experience. There are many wineries with excellent restaurants (The Lake House, Rickety Gate, Pepper & Salt, to name a few), a cheese factory, a meadery, a chocolate factory, a toffee factory etc. )
