The bed was super comfortable, the beach views from the loungeroom and master bedroom were awesome, it was just a short walk to the beach access up the road, laundry liquid was supplied, tea and coffee was supplied along with some milk and the house and yard were spacious. When we had to contact the company that ran the property they were friendly and helpful. This holiday home would be perfect for a family who is visiting the area.

This is an older house but has THE most amazing view out over the bay through huge glass windows. Relaxing sitting in the lounge room looking out at blue water and white beaches was incredible no matter what the weather outside. The house is about 10 minutes drive out of Coles Bay Village along the bay so was very quiet and peaceful. The beach was a short walk but was windy and cold while we were there so not ideal swimming weather which was a shame because the water was so so blue. We even had a little wallaby visit every night to eat the grass. The garden was also abundant with purple and pink flowers which made the view even more scenic. The kitchen had most things you would need to cater for yourself. Liked that there were little extras like glad wrap, foil etc already in the pantry. Would be ideal for a family or 2-3 couples. I thought it was reasonable value for money.

Property info

Sandgroper is located on one of the most pristine beaches in Australia. The views are stunning from the living area and the two main bedroom's look out at white sandy beaches and blue sky's. Sandgroper holiday house has absolute beach front access. Perfect for families, where you can take a short stroll directly in front of the house to the beach. The beach is shallow and safe for swimming and playing. There are two decks for entertaining and having a BBQ or just sitting back on a deck chair with a glass of wine or two, taking in the view and listening to the waves. Sandgroper has three bedroom. The main bedroom has a King bed, the second room has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two singles. Extra guests can be arranged where we can supply a fold away bed. Please advise if you require a cot or high chair. There is Foxtel for you to enjoy if you would like to relax on the extensive and comfortable lounge. There is plenty of parking. Sandgroper is close to many attractions, so be sure to book enough nights to enjoy them all. Experiences such as wineglass bay cruises, scenic flights, 4WD bike tours & kayak

There are many attractions here in Freycinet. In the Freycinet National Park you have the famous Wineglass Bay and the lighthouse, you can get information & maps on the walks and hikes in this region from the National Park office here in Coles Bay. There are also experiences such as: A unique and reputable food & wine tour called The Long Lunch Tour Co. Wineglass Bay Cruises where you can view Wineglass Bay via a cruise. 4WD bike tours with All4Adventures. Kayak Tours with Freycinet Adventures. Scenic flights with Freycinet Air. The Freycinet Marine Farm where you can sample local oysters and scallops A restaurant/ cafe "Geographe". There are also wineries in the area & Tombolo woodfire pizza's at Devils Corner. There are lots of stunning beaches for swimming and fishing and a golf course. There are also many attractions in the next town of Bicheno (only 25 minutes away), where you can go on a night time Penguin Tours and see Tasmanian Devils at Nature World.
