The hosts were so very warm and friendly. They stayed in contact with us up till our arrival are were flexible about arrival and departure times. They made extra special surprises for our wedding anniversary.

The welcoming tour and conversation were informative and friendly and you could tell they wanted you to enjoy their property as much as they love it!!

It was a great base from which to explore the Adelaide Hills.

The hosts went beyond our expectations with offering us a lift to the restaurant for a special dinner (and a pick-up after dinner!) freshly baked scones for breakfast delivered to the door and plenty of advice what to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and being spoilt. Thank you Warwick and Cathy, you are super hosts.
AustraliaWe had a wonderful stay. The perfect spot to base yourself while you explore the Adelaide Hills. We required gluten free options for breakfast which were catered for with no problem at all. We will definatley be back!!!

Sherwoode is perfectly placed in the Adelaide Hills to access the wine regions of the Barossa, McLarenvale and the wineries around Hahndorf which are only 10 minutes away. It's a short walk to both the City bus, and the coffee shops and cafes of Stirling Village. The position coupled with the luxurious fit out and inclusions make Sherwoode a special place.
I'm a retired airline pilot, and Cathy is a retired nurse. We both enjoy working in the large English style garden around the residence, and love to show off the beautiful Hills area that we are lucky enough to live in.
