The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and well presented. It had everything that we needed for a 2 night stay. The location was fantastic. It was a short walk across the road to the beach and a 5 minute walk down the road to the local shops.

Cottage is totally separate from the main house which works well for both owners and guests. Accommodation was made for our very late arrival. Very roomy with everything one needs. Location was an easy walk to the beach and close to the golf course which is why we were there.

The Portsea Hotel was a nice Hotel to stay in and different to the big city hotels we had been used to. The room have been recently refurbished and were very clean and tidy. It had most things for our comfort. I would definitely recommend staying here if you can.

Fabulous property even in winter.
Fabulous property even in winter. Great restaurant, pizzeria, bar. Undercover outdoor areas to enjoy a drink etc. views out over the water from our room were gorgeous also a private balcony with table and chairs was enjoyed. Walking to the beach, shops, pier, easy and close. Parking over the road from the venue although quite close. Would have preferred breakfast to be available and a toaster in the apartment perhaps, in addition or instead of a coffee machine. Will definitely visit again.

The wild coastal walks one side, and calm swimming beaches...
The wild coastal walks one side, and calm swimming beaches inside the bay (weather dependent of course). The amazing history (especially the quarantine station, and Cheviot Beach where Harold Holt disappeared) and stunning homes. Millionaires Walk a must, as is a dolphin swim. Revamped Portsea pub fabulous. The new Portsea lifesaving club is a credit to the community - huge building but well hidden in the landscape. And wow, those waves - what a seascape. Worth spending at least a few days at the Portsea Golf Club (Mercure) to explore.
The property was located in a quiet area of Portsea and still close to Sorrento. The house was spotless clean with all amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable. Fantastic for families or a couple. Open fireplace inside and a fire pit located outside. The host's communication was absolutely amazing. Thank you for having us stay. Totally recommend
A++++++++ we will be back.
The house is huge, cosy and clean with a lot of amenities provided. Kelly ensured that the place is kids friendly, she even reached out way before the stay to find out the kids' age group in order to cater the necessities. She also provided us with additional heaters to make sure we are warm during the cold and rainy weather.
The location was excellent - great proximity to the beach and to all Portsea has to offer. The room was lovely, a little small if you are thinking of bringing your own food, but still made it work. The pool/tennis courts/gym facilities were all excellent!
The reception service was amazing and we felt very looked after. The rooms were filled with all kinds of comfort things to make it feel quite luxury. Easy walk to the beach and a stunning beer garden and restaurant! The pizza and gnocchi was delicious!!
Really fantastic hotel. So quiet and perfect location for Mornington peninsula. We had a balcony. Fo note that they have no food service in evening but we orders a grazing platter to be delivered to room. It be was amazing!!
Stunning location, and so peaceful. We had views of the golf course and right out to Port Phillip Bay. A beautiful comfortable room, the balcony was great for a sunset Shiras, cheese and crackers.
A fantastic house to relax and unwind. Kitchen has everything you need. All bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. Beds are very comfortable. The lake view is great too.
