Micheal and Lisa were great hosts, Lisa allowed us to check in early as we were attending a Funeral at 12noon, and gave us plenty of time to refresh and get dressed for the Funeral after the drive from Cleveland, Redland City, Micheal is a Tech. expert sorry, Micheal, I won't tell everyone that you assisted me to set up a new phone which I had just purchased that day and saved me a trip to the Optus Shop, I hate to say this but there is one thing that bugs me in most Motels anywhere in Australia and that is with the TV being so high on the wall, It is ok if you watch the TV in bed but I always sit on one of the chairs at the bench and get a crook neck looking up and find myself having I stand up to watch TV, Sorry about that guys, but it really does bug me, I first stayed at the Sunseeker Motel in 1970 or '71 and will definitely be back on our next visit to Hervey Bay, The position couldn't be better. It was a great location close to restaurants and to the walking path and water across the road. Kids loved the pool and the pool toys. My son left his fitbit in the room and the lady rang and hoped we were still in the area but we weren't. They mailed it back to us .

The location of the property was ideal for where we needed to be. Not only was there the microwave, toaster and kettle in the room but there was also some cutlery and crockery to use for the items you prepared in them, and linen and dishwash detergent to clean up. A handy back door with a line running along the fence if you wanted to air a towel or togs, not to mention the line at the back of the property near the pool and laundry. There was even a broom and dustpan in the cupboard so you could sweep the tiles if someone in your room happened to walk some sand through.

A lovely big,clean and open planned unit with plenty of room to move after driving for several hours. There is a lovely barbeque and garden area with a deep blue pool. The motel is across the road from the beautiful beach and esplanade and with the local pub and eateries all within walking distance. A top place to stay.
