Sunset Retreat is in a beautiful rural location on 2.5 acers overlooking Ruddell Dam, the ranges and fields. Everyone can spread out and relax by the pool or on the deck keeping an eye on the kids safe in the knowledge there is a fully enclosed yards and no busy roads. Five bedrooms, spacious open plan living, sparkling in-ground pool, front deck plus the back-breeze deck all on one level so indoor/ outdoor flow is seamless. Sunset Retreat can comfortably sleep eight guests making it the perfect space to unwind with family or close friends. Enjoy a chat and a cool drink in the afternoon while the kids run off a little steam. The pool has built in seating and a small kid’s ledge that run’s the perimeter for those still not totally confident in the water. A gradual beach style entry is the perfect spot for toddlers to splash about and the built-in seating is simply crying out for Mum to sit down and just relax. We are close to Airlie Beach and the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and yet far enough from town that you are assured privacy and peace and quiet.
As a family who loves to travel, we have worked hard to re-create the luxury we enjoy as a couple on romantic getaway with all the facilities and little extras we need with the kids on a family getaway for our guests. At Sunset Retreat everyone has the space they need to enjoy their holiday, the way they deserve to. We are always available on our mobile, through messenger, email or via text and will endeavour to get back to you asap. Our Co-host's also live in our street in addition to our Home Care team who are also always on call. The property is yours exclusively and we respect out guest’s privacy.
It's time to come together, to reconnect and relax. Enjoy your getaway in this large family holiday home, close to Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands but set on acreage so you can get back to nature and recharge. Multiple outdoor areas and breakaway spaces ensures the whole family can enjoy their own space while on holidays together. Take a dip in the sparkling pool, crank up the pizza oven, roast marshmallows on the fire pit or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of a spectacular sunset. Located in an acreage estate cul de sac, the area is made up predominately of families which gives a sense of freedom for the kids to ride their bikes, kick a footy or climb a tree. Wildlife is usually literally at your doorstep, do not be surprised to see wallabies and kangaroo’s grazing on the lawn and green tree frogs perched on the rock beds. If you plan to bring your boat there is plenty of room to park on the property and be sure to take advantage of the Barramundi fishing at Peter Faust Dam or launch at one of three boat ramps nearby. The kids and adults alike will love their stay at Sunset Retreat, you owe it to yourself to book your next getaway.
