I can't say enough how much we loved our stay here and wished it was longer. The house is amazing and has everything you could need. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. The views were spectacular. And the penguins!! They have nests in the front yard and under the driveway and we loved watching them.

We loved this property, the views are amazing, seeing the seals and penguins was so exciting for us all. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable, it’s walking distance to the Lobster shack, blowhole and to town. If we ever come back to Bicheno would definitely stay here again.

  • When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?
    Suntrap Cove Bicheno is beautiful at all times of the year. Summer for the beach and the glorious long evenings. Autumn for the still predictable weather and moderate temperatures. Winter for bracing walks and watching the spectacular stormy seas. Spring for the awaking of nature with the hint of longer days and warmth approaching. Penguins around our house all year round. Whales going by late September, October and November. Seals on the rocks. Seabirds swooping to feed.

  • Are there 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers?

  • What sort of furniture is on the balcony for outside dining and relaxing?
    We have a light folding wooden table and directors chairs that can be moved into the deck easily for outside dining and ocean gazing.

Alligator Rock is seen from our balcony with seals, birds, dolphins and the occasional whale heading past. At night penguins come up around the house on dark and you can hear them in the night. Just across the road is the track that takes you around the foreshore from the Blowhole to the township. On the way you could buy some fresh fish from the wharf. You are a 10 minute walk to the town centre where the bakery and the butcher offer splendid produce. Rice Pebble Beach is a cute little spot about 200 metres south of the Blowhole which is found by walking along a grassy track by the water at the southern end of the Esplanade.
